Revision as of 15:47, 14 December 2013

"My Body as a Shield! Durbe’s Final Vow!" is the one-hundred and thirty-second episode of the Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL anime. It first aired in Japan on December 8, 2013.

Due to what Vector says, Dumon and Merag’s rage reaches their limit! While they throw their everything at Vector, ready to die if it means taking him down, they’re shocked even further when they’re savagely attacked by the power of the Continuous Spell Card "Don Thousand's Throne"! On the other hand, Alito, who finally regained his memories, goes to save his brainwashed buddy, Girag, with "Number 64: Ronin Raccoon Sandayu" at his side, and challenges Girag to a Duel.

Featured Duels

Merag and Dumon vs. Vector

Duel continues from the previous episode.

Turn 5: Merag
Merag activates "Distortion Crystal". As she controls a WATER monster, whenever the ATK of an opponent's monster is changed this turn, the value it is changed by will be doubled. She then activates "Zero Blade", which reduces the ATK of a monster her opponent controls by 1000. "Number 43: Soul Marionetter" loses 1000 ATK, doubled to 2000 via "Distortion Crystal" (3500 → 1500). As the ATK of an opponent's monster was changed, Merag activates the effect of "Number C103: Ragna Infinity", detaching a Chaos Overlay Unit to inflict damage to the opponent equal to the value it was changed by (Vector 4000 → 2000). The effect of "Zero Blade" also allows "Ragna Infinity" to attack twice this turn. "Ragna Infinity" attacks "Soul Marionetter" (Vector 2000 → 700), who is not destroyed by battle via its own effect as it is equipped with a "Number" monster. "Ragna Infinity" attacks "Soul Marionetter" again, but Vector activates his face-down Continuous Trap Card "Damage Pot", preventing the Battle Damage that both players would take. "Soul Marionetter" is once again not destroyed as it is equipped with a "Number". At the End Phase, the effect of "Don Thousand's Throne" activates, increasing Vector's Life Points by the damage he took this turn (Vector 700 → 4000).

Turn 6: Dumon
Dumon activates "Rank-Up-Magic The Seventh One", Ranking Up "Number 102: Star Seraph Sentry" and performing a Chaos Xyz Evolution to Special Summon "Number C102: Fallen Seraph - Noble Archfiend" (2900/2400) in Attack Position. Dumon activates the effect of the "Holy Rage" in his Graveyard, banishing it to increase the ATK of a monster he controls by 2000 ("Noble Archfiend 2900 → 4900) until the End Phase. However, the Battle Damage taken from battles involving it this turn will be inflicted to him as well. Dumon activates the effect of "Noble Archfiend", detaching a Chaos Overlay Unit to reduce the ATK of "Soul Marionetter" to 0 (1500 → 0) and negate its effects. "Noble Archfiend" attacks "Soul Marionetter", but Vector activates his face-down Continuous Trap Card "Evil 1", preventing the destruction of "Soul Marionetter" by battle and making the Battle Damage become equal to his current Life Points -1 (Vector 4000 → 1, Dumon 4000 → 1). At the End Phase, the effect of "Don Thousand's Throne" increases Vector's Life Points by the damage he took this turn (Vector 1 → 4000).

Turn 7: Vector
Vector activates the effect of "Evil 1", sending it to the Graveyard to destroy any card on the field at the expense of skipping this turn's Battle Phase. He chooses "Damage Pot", whose effect activates when it leaves the field. The damage that was reduced upon its activation (1300) is now inflicted to all players. Dumon activates his face-down "Saint Shield" as a Trap Card would inflict damage, reducing the damage to 0 and increasing the ATK of a Fairy-Type monster on the field equal to the total damage that would have been inflicted to all players ("Ragna Infinity" 2800 → 6700), but at the End Phase, Dumon will take damage equal to that value (Dumon 1 → 0).

Turn 8: Merag
"Ragna Infinity" attacks "Soul Marionetter".

Duel continues in the next episode.

Alito vs. Girag

Turn 1: Alito
Alito Normal Summons "Battlin' Boxer Big Bandage" (1100/???) and Sets two cards.

Turn 2: Girag
The start of the turn is skipped, but Girag Special Summons "Number C106: Giant Red Hand" (2600/2000) in Attack Position with one Chaos Overlay Unit. Girag Normal Summons "Fire Hand" (1600/1000) and as he controls a Pyro-Type monster, Special Summons "Prominence Hand" (600/2000) from his hand in Attack Position via its own effect. Girag overlays his two Level 4 monsters to Xyz Summon "Number 58: Burner Viser" (1000/1000) in Attack Position. Girag activates the effect of "Burner Viser", detaching both Overlay Units to equip it to "Giant Red Hand". The equipped monster can attack directly. It does so now (Alito 4000 → 1400). The effect of "Burner Viser" also lets him discard any number of cards when the equipped monster inflicts Battle Damage, inflicting 500 damage for each discarded card. He discards "Ice Hand" (Alito 1400 → 900), "Reload" (Alito 900 → 400) and "The Judgement Hand". Alito activates his face-down "Hyper Burning" as his Life Points would be reduced to 0; he can pay half his Life Points (Alito 400 → 200) to reduce the damage to 0.

Duel continues in the next episode.
