  • The ARC-V campaign has been rewritten extensively
    • The Tutorial duel now is against The Sledgehammer instead of Gong Strong.
    • During the point where you summoned Judge Man and both Pendulum Monsters destroyed in the previous turn, you instead summon only one of the two.
      • This is because of the Pendulum Summon restriction in the New Master Rules.
  • The game does not include Turbo Duel or Speed Duel rules, modifying any duel using those rules to use the standard rule set.
  • Some characters, like Alexis Rhodes (ARC-V), have completely new artwork, exclusive to this title.
    • All VRAINS characters use exclusive artwork, due to not being introduced in Duel Links when this game was released.
  • An update was released on March 24th, 2020, to bring it into line with the April 2020 rules, and add content from the later seasons of Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS.
    • This update is included with the XBOX One, PS4 and Steam versions of the game, but was offered as a free DLC Update for the Switch version.
  • Monsters have their attack animation play when summoned rather than when attacking like in the original Legacy of the Duelist.
