"A Tag Duel Surges! Grasp Victory With the Power of Friendship!!" is the tenth chapter of the Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V The Strongest Duelist Yuya!! manga. It was first published October 1, 2016, in the Saikyō Jump magazine.
Summary[]
Yuya is deceived by a young boy, Sora Shiun'in, who sets him up against Syun Kurosaki. However, Gongenzaka learns about their scheme and interfers, and he ends up tagging alongside Yuya against the two.
Featured Duel: Yuya Sakaki and Noboru Gogenzaka vs. Sora Shiun'in and Syun Kurosaki[]
Note: This Duel uses a special gameplay in order to make it simpler for the children, which makes the Monster Cards have no effects whatsoever.
At the start of the Duel, the Field Spell Card "Sweet Candy World" is activated, as per the rules of an Action Duel. It will allow the players to use Action Cards, but they may only have one in their hand at a time.
Turn 1: Sora
Sora Sets a monster.
Turn 2: Yuya
Yuya activates "Performapal Gumgumouton" and "Performapal Bubblebowwow" in his Pendulum Zones, allowing him to Pendulum Summon "Performapal Helpprincess" (1200/1200). He attacks Sora's face-down monster with "Helpprincess"; Sora's monster is revealed to be "Edge Imp Chain" (1200/1800), so the attack fails (Yuya & Gongenzaka 4000 → 3400).
Turn 3: Syun
Syun Normal Summons "Raidraptor - Vanishing Lanius". He Overlays "Vanishing Lanius" and Sora's "Edge Imp Chain" to Xyz Summon "Raidraptor - Force Strix" (100/2000), and attacks "Helpprincess". The attack fails and "Force Strix" is destroyed (Sora & Syun 4000 → 2900), but Syun activates "Rank-Up-Magic Doom Double Force", using the destroyed "Force Strix" as material to Xyz Summon the Rank 8 "Raidraptor - Satellite Cannon Falcon" (3000/2000). Syun attacks and destroys "Helpprincess" with "Satellite Cannon Falcon" (Yuya & Gongenzaka 3400 → 1600).
Turn 4: Gongenzaka
Gongenzaka uses the Pendulum Scales of Yuya's monsters to Pendulum Summon "Superheavy Samurai Trumpeter", "Superheavy Samurai Scales" and "Superheavy Samurai Kabuto". He then tunes "Scales" and "Kabuto" with "Trumpeter" to Synchro Summon "Superheavy Samurai Warlord Susanowo" (2400/3800).
