"Something to Protect!!" is the thirty-seventh chapter of the Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's manga.
This chapter will be first printed August 21, 2012 in the 10/2012 issue of the V-Jump magazine.
Summary
Yusei continues his Duel against Leo and Luna, when something unexpected happens - the attack of Yusei's "Flashing Carat Dragon - Stardust" removes the control of "Machine Dragon - Power Tool" from Leo for an instant! However, the Duel Dragons of the twins soon take over them once more, as Yusei now starts a new battle to save them.
Featured Duel: Yusei Fudo vs. Leo & Luna
Duel continues from the previous Ride.
Yusei Activates "Quick Spanite"'s effect to decrease ATK of "Machine Dragon - Power Tool" by 500 ("Machine Dragon - Power Tool": ATK 2300 → 1800), and attacks "Machine Dragon - Power Tool" with "Flashing Carat Dragon - Stardust". "Machine Dragon - Power Tool" is destroyed and Leo takes 1400 damage doubled by field spell "Fairy Tale Second Chapter: The Mad Sun" (Leo & Luna: 3500 → 2100).
Turn 5: Leo & Luna
The own effect of "Fairy Tale Second Chapter: The Mad Sun" replaces itself with "Fairy Tale Third Chapter: The Twilight's Setting Sun" during the start of Leo and Luna's turn. Using the effect of "Fairy Tale Third Chapter: The Twilight's Setting Sun", Luna Special Summons "Machine Dragon - Power Tool" (2300/2500) in Defense position. Luna Normal Summons "Medium of the Forest, Gecko" (800/1600) and by its effect Special Summons "Ninja of the Forest, Bat" (800/800) from her graveyard. Luna tunes the Level 4 "Medium of the Forest, Gecko" with the Level 3 Tuner monster "Ninja of the Forest, Bat" to Synchro Summon "Fairy Dragon - Ancient" (2100/3000) in Attack Position. Luna activates the effect of "Fairy Dragon - Ancient" to destroy "Flashing Carat Dragon - Stardust" but Yusei Negates the destruction of "Flashing Carat Dragon - Stardust" by its own effect during the turn. Luna activates "Curse of the Forest" to Decrease ATK of "Flashing Carat Dragon - Stardust" by 2300 as same amount with "Machine Dragon - Power Tool"("Flashing Carat Dragon - Stardust": ATK 2500 → 200) ("Machine Dragon - Power Tool": ATK 2300 → 0). Luna attacks "Flashing Carat Dragon - Stardust" with "Fairy Dragon - Ancient". "Flashing Carat Dragon - Stardust" isn't destroyed but Yusei takes 1900 damage(Yusei: 2600 → 700). At end phase, Both ATKs of "Flashing Carat Dragon - Stardust" and "Machine Dragon - Power Tool" return to original ATK ("Flashing Carat Dragon - Stardust": ATK 200 → 2500) ("Machine Dragon - Power Tool": ATK 0 → 2300).
Turn 6: Yusei
Yusei attacks "Fairy Dragon - Ancient" with "Flashing Carat Dragon - Stardust", but Leo activates "Something to Protect" and changes Attack Target to "Machine Dragon - Power Tool". Yusei Special Summons "Scarred Warrior" (2100/1000) in Defense position, using the effect of "Fairy Tale Third Chapter: The Twilight's Setting Sun"
