"Rematch!!" is the thirty-sixth chapter of the Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's manga.
This chapter was first printed July 21, 2012 in the 9/2012 issue of the V-Jump magazine. It was later reprinted in volume 5 of the tankōbon.
In order to test the power of Yusei's Duel Dragon, Goodwin manipulates Leo and Luna to go after him. Now, Yusei has to face Leo and Luna once more in a Duel, but this time, the power of their dragons will decide the match.
Summary
Leo and Luna stand in a Duel Zodiac. While Leo impatiently awaits for Yusei, Luna reads her fairy tale book, "The Black Magician of the Forest". As she finishes it, Yusei appears, wearing Sect's broken glasses around his neck, and faces the twins.
Meanwhile, Goodwin, who watches them through cameras, remembers when Leo used the money they earned through Turbo Duels to buy Luna the book, when they were still young, and compares her to the young lady of the fairy tale.
Then, the Duel begins. Leo takes the first turn. Luna orders Leo to use her cards, activating her Fairy Tale Field Spell Card, and after managing to Summon a Level 3 Tuner monster and a Level 4 non-tuner monster, to Summon her Duel Dragon, "Ancient Pixie Dragon". However, Leo notes something wrong about Luna, and thought it would be dangerous to do it. He then ended his turn by Setting a "Morphtronic" Trap Card, "Those We Protect", and told her that's just the beginning of the Duel, and that he had a plan. He actually planned to end the Duel before needing to Summon "Ancient Pixie Dragon" in order to protect Luna.
Yusei manages to quickly Synchro Summon "Scarred Warrior", and when it attacks "Bat, The Forest Ninja", Leo uses the effect of "Wonko, Noble Knight of the Forest" to redirect the attack to itself - who is destroyed. Luna gets angry at Leo, complaining that he is mistreating her monster. However, he soon calms her down, as she notes how he looks like being the broken scarecrow from her fairy tale book.
Back to Leo's turn, Luna is happy seeing Leo Summon her monster and tuning it with her other monsters, but instead of "Ancient Pixie Dragon", he Summons his "Machine Dragon Power Tool". Luna complains with him about that, and is sulky with him. Yusei recalls the dragon from their last Duel, and notes Leo's resolution to protect Luna through his Sense, but keeps spirited up for the sake of his friend Sect. Leo attacks Yusei's "Scarred Warrior", putting all of his Sense on it; however, although inflicting double damage due to their Field Spell, "Scarred Warrior" is not destroyed due to his effect.
Then, on his turn, Yusei Summons "Quick Spanite" and tunes it with "Scarred Warrior" to Summon his newest Duel Dragon: "Stardust Spark Dragon".
Featured Duel: Yusei Fudo vs. Leo & Luna
Turn 1: Leo & Luna
Leo activates the Field Spell Card "Fairy Tale Prologue: Journey’s Dawn", which halves all Battle Damage. He Normal Summons "Wonko, Noble Knight of the Forest" (1100/1600) in Attack Position, and Special Summons "Bat, The Forest Ninja" (800/800) in Attack Position from his hand via its own effect, as a Field Spell Card is active. Leo Sets a card.
Turn 2: Yusei
Yusei Special Summons "Junk Forward" (900/1500) from his hand via its own effect, as Leo controls monsters and he doesn't. He then Normal Summons "Screwturn the Apprentice Warrior" (500/800). Yusei tunes the Level 3 "Junk Forward" with the Level 2 Tuner monster "Screwturn the Apprentice Warrior" to Synchro Summon "Scarred Warrior" (2100/1000) in Attack Position. He attacks "Bat, The Forest Ninja", but the effect of "Wonko, Noble Knight of the Forest" redirects the attack for itself as a Field Spell Card is active. "Wonko, Noble Knight of the Forest" is destroyed; The effect of "Fairy Tale Prologue: Journey’s Dawn" halves the Battle Damage, (Leo & Luna: 4000 → 3500) and the effect of "Wonko, Noble Knight of the Forest" decreases the ATK of "Scarred Warrior" by 500, as it was destroyed by battle ("Scarred Warrior": ATK 2100 → 1600).
Turn 3: Leo & Luna
The own effect of "Fairy Tale Prologue: Journey’s Dawn" replaces itself with "Fairy Tale Chapter 2: Seething Sun" during the start of Leo and Luna's turn. "Fairy Tale Chapter 2: Seething Sun" doubles all Battle Damage. Leo Normal Summons "Chip, The Forest Thief" (800/1200). He tunes the Level 4 "Chip, The Forest Thief" with the Level 3 Tuner monster "Bat, The Forest Ninja" to Synchro Summon "Machine Dragon Power Tool" (2300/2500) in Attack Position. Leo attacks "Scarred Warrior" with "Machine Dragon Power Tool"; The effect of "Fairy Tale Chapter 2: Seething Sun" doubles the Battle Damage, (Yusei: 4000 → 2600) while the effect of "Scarred Warrior" prevents itself of being destroyed by battle once per turn.
Turn 4: Yusei
Yusei draws and Normal Summons "Quick Spanite" (1000/800). He tunes the Level 5 "Scarred Warrior" with the Level 3 Tuner monster "Quick Spanite" to Synchro Summon "Stardust Spark Dragon" (2500/2000).
