Rise of the Great Beast - Part 2
Featured Battle: Yugi + Yami vs. Noah & The Great Leviathan's Spirit - Part 2
Battle continues from previous episode.
Yugi attempts to help Yami, but the latter tells him to stay back and that "this is [his] battle". He must prove that the darkness in his heart is gone.
- To focus on the light within his heart, Yugi suggests Yami focus on his friends & the power of friendship.
- Through a series of flashback visions, Yami experiences events from the late part of the Waking the Dragons arc. He is able to focus on how he overcame darkness and all the help his friends provided him.
- Through the power of light, Yami is able to banish The Great Leviathan from this world for good.
The Light Returns
- Ironheart, Chris, and Skye appear in spirit. They welcome back the spirit of Noah, who thanks to Yami is no longer under the control of the Orichalcos.
- Yugi and Yami walk back through the inter-dimensional portal.
- As Atlantis continues to crumble, Seto, Mokuba, Joey, Téa, Tristan and Rafael embark onto KaibaCorp's helicopter and leave the island. Yugi and Yami are nowhere to be seen.
Epilogue
Everywhere else in the world, trapped souls have been returned to their rightful bodies who wake up from their slumber. First Weevil and Rex, then Alister, Valon, and Mai.
Yugi wakes up on a deserted island, alongside Yami's spirit. "Dark Magician Girl" appears before them, along with the 3 Legendary Knights Timaeus, Hermos, and Critias. She thanks Yugi and Yami for their help.
- The 3 Legendary Knights return to the Dominion of the Beasts. They will always keep a watchful eye on the world when their help is needed again. "Dark Magician Girl" follows them.
- Yugi's "The Eye of Timaeus", Joey's "The Claw of Hermos", and Seto's "The Fang of Critias" cards disappear into thin air.
The KaibaCorp helicopter arrives to pick up Yugi and Yami's spirit.
This concludes the Waking the Dragons (season 4) story arc.
