Content Moderator is a user right that allows users to move and/or delete pages. They can also protect pages from being edited, and edit protected pages.

Only bureaucrats are able to grant users this access, and users may request it at Yu-Gi-Oh!:Requests for content moderator.

Access

Content Moderators have the following features.

delete Delete pages Delete inappropriate pages, generally those that broke the guideline, and after discussions regarding pages marked with {{Delete}}.
deletedhistory View deleted history entries, without their associated text
deletedtext View deleted text and changes between deleted revisions
move Allows the user to rename pages.
  • Renaming cards, characters, etc. : Mainly after an official English name has been confirmed.
  • Renaming pages with unclear, misleading or conflicting names.
move-subpages Allows the user to move any subpages of a page when they move the page, without having to move each subpage separately.
movefile Allows the user to rename pages in the file namespace.
  • Renaming files with misleading, meaningless, erroneous or pejorative names.
  • Renaming images with non-image policy compliant names.
  • Renaming card images after a card is renamed.
move-rootuserpages Allows the user to rename a base userpage. This should not generally be done by users here; moving a user's page does not change their username, and a user's pages are moved automatically when that user is renamed.
noratelimit Not be affected by action throttles, including one which prevents users performing more than two page moves in a short space of time.
  • Moving "other card information" and other related pages after a card article has been renamed.
patrol Mark others' edits as patrolled
protect Change protection levels and edit protected pages
  • Prevents a page from being edited by normal users. Generally for being high-traffic page or is currently under edit war.
  • Edit restricted pages
reupload Overwrite existing files Get a new version of a file, possibly the better version.
rollback Quickly rollback the edits of the last user who edited a particular page Undo multiple edits from the same user at once, generally by vandals.
suppressredirect Allows the user to rename a page without leaving a redirect behind. It's important to ensure that relevant links to the old title are cleaned-up when using this.
  • Moving files and "other card information" pages.
  • Undoing vandalism page moves.
undelete Undelete a page Restore a deleted page.
