Adding Set Names by Language

First off, great job. Secondly, can you do me a favour? I'm trying to build up a list of what sets are called what in every language. I have a page set up here, could you add all the names you know of to the list by their Set ID? Thanks.--TwoTailedFox (My Talk Page) 17:50, 11 March 2008 (UTC)

Of course, I would be pleased to help you Yamimillenium 17:58, 11 March 2008 (UTC)
One more thing. I noticed that yuou are doing PSV-F101|SDP-F101 for redirects. Please use the original language set numbers, since we want them to be able to searched using them. So, for this example, just leave SDP-F101.--TwoTailedFox (My Talk Page) 18:47, 12 March 2008 (UTC)
When I use PSV-F###|SDP-F### it's only because the page SDP-F### doesn't exist and i don't know how to redirect. Yamimillenium 18:53, 12 March 2008 (UTC)
Use #REDIRECT <article name>.--TwoTailedFox (My Talk Page) 18:54, 12 March 2008 (UTC)
Ok thanks i'll do it ^^ Yamimillenium 18:57, 12 March 2008 (UTC)
Also, you're erasing Dark Beginning 1 links on the pages you've just done. Avoid erasing sets, k?--TwoTailedFox (My Talk Page) 19:17, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
In fact, this pack was nerver released in France, so I erase the text. Yamimillenium 18:17, 14 March 2008 (UTC)

A Note

  • Instead of Dark or DARK, use DARK. Same applies for all other attributes.
  • Instead of Dragon, use Dragon. Same applies for all other types.
  • Instead of Attack Position or Defense Position, use Attack Position or Defense Position. Thanks. --Dragon Slayer (Contribs Count) 01:02, 16 March 2008 (UTC)
Ok, I'll use it for my next cards.
Thank you. --Dragon Slayer (Contribs Count) 01:06, 16 March 2008 (UTC)

Pirate Keith

Who is Pirate Keith? Dmaster (Contribs Count) 00:35, 5 April 2008 (UTC)

Duel Monsters Video Game

Can you find information on Toon Exodia, Super Lair Card, etc and other unique cards in that game?--TwoTailedFox (My Talk Page) 21:04, 28 July 2008 (UTC)

  • This is what I wanted to do before discovering that Yugi is asking for something I don't understand. Here are the pictures, I someone could translated them for me, please :

1st screen after pressing "Up, Down, ..."

2nd screen after pressing "Up, Down, ..."

3rd screen after pressing "Up, Down, ..."

    1st screen for "Cheat Menu"

    2nd screen for "Cheat Menu"

    When you want to validate

When you entered a wrong password

Then, i can't use the passwords yet, but as soon as it will be, I'll try the Toon Exodia password Yamimillenium 21:45, 28 July 2008 (UTC)
    • Sorry, about the deletes. those last few images you uploaded are back now. -- Deltaneos (talk) 21:55, 28 July 2008 (UTC)
  • From info I've gathered from Japanese game guide sites like Wazap, it seems like you need to enter a "urawaza mode" (cheat mode), by entering: "UP DOWN B DOWN DOWN UP B B".
However I cannot find any info on a supposed "Toon Exodia", so it may either be a hoax, or something that only exists in the American release of the game. --Pizzaman 12:08, 30 July 2008 (UTC)
    • Yep there's a "enter cheat" screen but cheats are made of text (or numbers are written in japanese...)... I don't know what to do ^^... I'll try with Japanese numbers... Yamimillenium 12:11, 30 July 2008 (UTC)
      • Hi. Sorry to bug you, but how are you coming along? Can you get Took Exodia yet? Rodtheanimegod4ever 23:00, 15 August 2008 (UTC)
        • I'm looking for help, if somebody can translate what Yugi says, because i don't know how to enter password...Yamimillenium 23:29, 15 August 2008 (UTC)
          • We have Japanese-speakers here. If you can screenshot what he says, I could run it by them. Rodtheanimegod4ever 23:11, 15 August 2008 (UTC)
            • Screenshots are censed to be here... on the right of the screen...Yamimillenium 23:29, 15 August 2008 (UTC)
  • (Indent reset) Well, screen 1~3 is Yugi simply asking you to enter the password. Screen 4 is the hiragana input while screen 5 is the katakana input. Screen 6 says "Are you sure you want to use this name? This cannot be changed afterwards" (I find it strange how it says "name") and Screen 7 is Yugi telling you that you inputted the wrong password. And as I say again... I seriously doubt the existence of Toon Exodia, as I can find zero information regarding it. --Pizzaman 09:09, 18 August 2008 (UTC)
    • Also, these are the passwords:

トリシマカズヒコ→ ホーリー・ナイト・ドラゴン

It's the name of staff members involved in the game XD --Pizzaman 09:17, 18 August 2008 (UTC)

I someone know how to get super lair card and how to enter these codes... (finally "up, down, ..." unlock cheats menu and not "super lair card") Yamimillenium 10:24, 18 August 2008 (UTC)

I can confirm that those passwords work but on the Geocities link, some of the passwords are blank as they are unaccounted for. I used the cheat and painstakingly got all the cards from the listed passwords. The Super Lair/Toon Exodia thing is a hoax as those don't exist. I could upload my save from the Lameboy emulator if you would like.Dev20W (talkcontribs) 18:39, August 11, 2014 (UTC)

Hey, it's me. I'v got a question for you, have you heard of the author Patrick Carman (I don't know if his books are in France.) If you have, I need your help. You need to read the book Skeleton Creek, it is part of a project I'm working on (not for school, something that actually matters.) I'll breif you on the details later, and don't forget we still have to play.

French inter-wiki links

Do you mean add them automatically with the card table or add them all manually? -- Deltaneos (talk) 12:59, 10 July 2009 (UTC)

I see. You want to link between wikis in the names section of the table. Do you know that there is a more "official" way of linking between different language wikis? In the sidebar there's a section called "languages" or "in other languages". If you click the name of the language you want, it will take you to the coresponding article on the wiki of the language. For example, see the Basic Insect page. We currently have it set-up to link between the German and Spanish wikis. I can ask the techs to add French. In that case we would add fr:Insecte Élémentaire to the article, or something like fr:{frname} to the table. -- Deltaneos (talk) 13:08, 13 July 2009 (UTC)

Re: BEWD and REBD figures

The ones were're currently using being copyrighted isn't a problem, since the copyright holder has given people permission to use them (see here).

I agree that the images you've found are better, but they're probably also copyrighted. Do you know the photographer? Did they say anything about how people can reuse them? -- Deltaneos (talk) 23:25, September 12, 2010 (UTC)

Re: French Hidden Arsenal cards

You should ask Hydronic why he is reverting the images and explain to him why you feel yours should be used. -- Deltaneos (talk) 16:12, September 26, 2010 (UTC)

Sorry for the late answer, was getting a hard time "trying" to read your message. I only really understood the "ads" part of the whole. So, I don't really know what to say right now... Anyways, advertising you say? Can you "clarify" what you mean? I don't really see any advertising there.--Hydronic (talkcontribs) 17:55, September 28, 2010 (UTC)

DM1 password/cheat menu

Hey Yamimillenium, did you ever get the cheat sequence for accessing the password/cheat menu screen in Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters to work? I can't ever get it to work for me, no matter what I try, so if you did, I'd appreciate if you could walk me through it step-by-step. Thanks! · ☎ Dinoguy1000 04:41, December 15, 2012 (UTC)

If I remember well, you have to press UP DOWN B DOWN DOWN UP B B on the title screen and nothing else (if you accidentally pressed a button at the title screen, you have to go to a submenu, then go back to the title screen). Once again, I explain how to get the password screen by memory, after pressing UP DOWN B DOWN DOWN UP B B, Yugi will ask you to enter a password. Here i tried one but nothing happen (my rom coul have been corrupted from the beginning).
I hope it will work for you. If the passwords don't work for you too, I'll try again on my side.
- 10:51, December 15, 2012 (UTC)
That's what I've tried, several times, but nothing ever happens for me. It could be the emulator I'm using, though, since all the opponents also use BEWDs in their decks...
When you got it to work before, was it on a new game, or on one you'd been playing on? Did you successfully use any passwords? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 19:55, December 15, 2012 (UTC)
I got to the password screen after playing a lot... But not on my first try... Then, i have never been able to enter a valid password... - 20:08, December 15, 2012 (UTC)
Well, that sucks. I don't suppose you know anyone else that's been successful with it? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 21:38, December 15, 2012 (UTC)
That's because the code is slightly incorrect. You have to press UP DOWN B DOWN DOWN UP + B B. You could have to try a few times though as the game sometimes takes twice the input for Up in the UP + B. If you still can't acess it, set RAM address DFDE to 0x06, and press B. --Froggy25 (talkcontribs) 15:29, May 6, 2015 (UTC)
Oh, thanks for the correction! I'll have to try that sometime myself! · ☎ Dinoguy1000 08:07, May 10, 2015 (UTC)
