Content Conflict, prehaps

Yesterday, You tagged this page for deletion as Supratim created another version with the possible TCG name. Then MasterMarik deleted the page as per the tag.

This kind of problem can be solved with just 1 rename, and that's it.

Well I think I want to complain cause my works are scrapped, but at least this Content Mod tool allows me to restore my contents back onto the new page. 0123456789 The Great (talkcontribs) 04:46, December 14, 2018 (UTC)

Is there any way for me to change a page name or is that an admin only function? Astro Knightmare should be changed to Idolee because Idola+Lee, not just Idlee. Same with Melodark being Melody+Dark. It makes much more sense. The whole Iblee/Idlee thing is over since Astro Knightmare looks nothing like Galatea etc. Pitifulheartles (talkcontribs) 19:01, December 17, 2018 (UTC)

If you want a "article name change", then use the "rename" tag like on this page "Destiny HERO - Dominateguy". This will keep the article in highlight for Mods to change, when they confirm stuff.
Well, mainly i got the translated names from "ygorganization", and i know that their might be some translation errors. But my Japanese isn't that good to apply my own changes, so i left it as they had translated (because article creations have been getting delayed on this wikia, since the old staff left), and mainly waiting for the official TCG name for it, or if anyone more proficient with Japanese to rename it.--Supratim1986 (talkcontribs) 19:31, December 17, 2018 (UTC)
Renaming can only be done by an admin or moderator but we don't have confirmation that those are the actual names of those cards. Thus, there is no reason to change them until there's proof. --MasterMarik (talkcontribs) 21:08, December 17, 2018 (UTC)
To be honest I would agree with Idlee originally; however, knowing the word idola and its meaning seems to fit a whole lot better with the theme of "entertainment/theater" with the other 2 monsters. Idola, Melody, Deus ex Machina.Pitifulheartles (talkcontribs) 17:25, December 19, 2018 (UTC)

To "Energy X",
For the articles "Destiny HERO - Dominance" and "Destiny HERO - Drawhand", its better to leave them with the OCG name (since we are already using the "unofficial name" tag on it for english name), because while its true that Destiny Heroes don't have 'guy' in their TCG name, but we are not really sure what the actual TCG name would be (previous example being "Drillguy" to "Drilldark"), so better safe with OCG name for now.

Also, i do try to keep things as they should be, but when creating around 10-15 articles at once, plus cropping and uploading the images and adding text & lore, it can be possible i miss out on things. So sorry if i wasn't able to correct the Japanese names to 'alphanumeric characters at full-width' for some articles (that's why i have stopped adding translated english lores, as i am not good with standard card-style formatting for the lores).--Supratim1986 (talkcontribs) 09:01, December 18, 2018 (UTC)

Possible New Vandal

Response

I am not trying to start anything here. Just making a correction on some misinformation regarding Tanner's duel record on how Jack intervened before he and Yusei could start a duel. With no cards on the field, no life points displayed, or even their opening hands drawn, there was virtually no duel in place before Jack's appearance, meaning that listing them as having dueled during then was incorrect.

And since when do I need permission to post an edit on here? --Finaldraw (talkcontribs) 21:58, December 20, 2018 (UTC)

Moving of "Zero God Reiji"

May i ask why did you undo my move of page "Divine Go-D/D/D Zero King Zero God Reiji" back to that name before, after i changed it to "Divine Go-D/D/D Zero King Zero God Reiji", as per the English manga image provided?--Supratim1986 (talkcontribs) 19:51, December 21, 2018 (UTC)

That isn't clear in the chapter and its still possible that "Zero God Reiji" could be an actual "Go-D/D/D" and it isn't because of the effect of "Go-D/D World".
Not to mention, the way everyone reacted to the cards summons, gives the same feeling to that of Yuya's "God-Eyes Phantom Dragon" which represents Yuya's "G.O.D" version monster. So, i doubt the writers would give Reiji his "G.O.D" version monster because of an card effect (since in a way, that would make Reiji's being a duplicate, while Yuya's being a original, as all Yuya have to do is negate "Go-D/D World" to remove "Go-" from all of Reiji's monsters).
Well, i asked about it on "neoarkcradle" forums since people there know more about this stuffs, so if i get a reply, it might help out.--Supratim1986 (talkcontribs) 20:22, December 21, 2018 (UTC)

Starter Deck Yuya page naming

I swapped the redirect and actual page of Starter Deck: Yuya and Starter Deck - Yuya for the time being since the Set Card Lists are all under the former. If you want to change back to Starter Deck - Yuya, please move the Set Card Lists and other subpages along so the information is kept. Thanks BlazeWu (talkcontribs) 18:03, December 26, 2018 (UTC)

Copying from Yugipedia

Hi, it's been awhile. I'd appreciate if you could tell this user to not copy from Yugipedia pages, as they pretty obviously did. Same for Card Trivia:Token Collector.
It may interest you to know that that user is a ban-evader, originally User talk:ArcadiasScholarly, banned for uploading fan-made Unlimited Edition card images (heavily suspected to be made by himself, since he "somehow" couldn't find any of the website(s) he supposedly downloaded the images from).
But that's your call to enforce or not, I just wanted to give you some context for that user. --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 19:26, January 3, 2019 (UTC)

If I asked them to stop copying, I'd have no authority, so I figure "Why not save time?" Same for them being a ban-evader, but I only said that so at least you know some of the lingering issues the wiki has (and they might do other similar 'shady stuff' in the future). He has devolved into caps-lock vandalism when he gets ticked off, as seen with his other banned alts, so he bears watching at least. --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 17:02, January 4, 2019 (UTC)

RE:Plagiarism

Hi, Energy X:

I got your message, I was just really busy playing a fan-made Pokémon RPG the past few days. I'm really sorry for this. I thought at the time to cite the Yugipedia Trivia page links since I've seen some user folk doing such to certain edits they did as well but honestly, I had brain flatulence then and thought Trivia copying wasn't a big deal. But yeah, 'Pedia is a different beast so if even citing the site from here on isn't enough in fair use, I'll just avoid poking it again.

You know, as I was about to reply, I couldn't help but wonder with whom took umbrage with me? Before I replied here, I scrolled down and noticed good-ole' UltimateKuriboh. Yes, "ArcadiasScholarly" (or at least the 2015-16 version of this individual) was a mucked-up time in my life. It all started in late 2014--the family dog passed away (I never had to cope with the loss of a pet, nor did I ever have a pet for over 10 years and for a pet I've had that long and was close to, this loss was tough) I lost a beautiful cousin of mine from alcoholic asphyxiation in her sleep late-October 2015 (who I think turned 21 just a little less than a year prior. It was a huge shock for our family as we never experienced losing someone that young) and recently just this past year (2018,) I lost another cousin in his late-twenties to heroin! All this, coupled with the chaos that has gone on in my country under our current U.S. President and one my biggest directives is for my mom and I to stay sane, safe and happy, especially in Philadelphia. (On the bright side, the Philadelphia Eagles won their first Super Bowl last year in gridiron football and as of the date of this text, may be on the road to repeat!)

SO--I know this isn't the site for our über-personals but why would I make note of this? Well my mom and I moved to another Philly-area neighborhood in mid-April 2017 to an apartment to essentially start anew--away from a hard-to-maintain row house and predominantly neighbors that couldn't stand us. Things are for the most part much better and I'm trying to work on myself. Most of all though, I need escapism now more than ever, away from country chaos and Philly rudeness that I seem to be seeing a lot more of these days; being a Yu-Gi-Oh! Wikia contributor has in-part allowed me to do that. ArcadiasScholarly and its spin-offs are locked in the attic with the key in parts unknown to infinity and beyond so with that, I just wanted to hard-reset myself to do what I've always done before those trying times. By being here for the right reasons and loving the act of adding to the ever-burgeoning Yu-Gi-Verse here because I've been passionate about this anime since I was a kid.

Other than all that, congratulations on being (I think) a recently promoted admin here, let me know if you have any questions/comments about anything and most of all, if you ever get in touch with the old guard (e.g. UltimateKuriboh, GoldenKey, Deltaneos, etc.), tell them that Ryan (NOT "ArcadisScholarly") said hello and that I hope they and YugiPedia are living well and prospering!  :) --May FORZA be with you, your loved ones and friends!! FW: Yu-Gi-Oh! series allusions page

Hello again:

About two weeks ago, I asked MasterMarik and 0123456789 The Great some questions regarding this forum page that I've recently tended to that reps the cross-series connotations within every spinoff Yu-Gi-Oh! series after the original. Originally, I was adding VRAINS references to past series, as ZEXAL and ARC-V were the only two spinoffs accounted for on the page beforehand but really, if you're gonna do more than one spinoff, I guess you gotta do them all. SO, I thus later added slots for the rest of the spinoff series (5D's and even GX too.) If it's okay with you, I'd like to pass on what I asked them to you because as you're an admin now, maybe you have a better idea about the following? I mean, per the "Rule of Three" trope (thanks TVTropes), I asked two non-admins what they thought so maybe after querying an admin, this matter can be put to bed for good.

Do keep in mind that the below original request is outdated as I initially was only doing VRAINS allusions at the time I first made these requests. If any other relatively ardent anime watcher within this Wikia can add to the allusions page, let me know and let me know what you think of my other question(s) in the below initial query. Take it easy!

Not sure if anyone's been aware but I've been on/off adding to this Yu-Gi-Oh! spinoff series cross-allusions reference forum page. The page doesn't seem to have been touched since VRAINS started but I've been repping the VRAINS's allusions to previous series since (particularly within Season 2) there's been too many of these to ignore (and yet I thought VRAINS would stick it to the rest of the spinoff series that have allusions-a-plenty! Perhaps, not...  :\ )

Anywho, I just wanted to note that while I have been trying to add VRAINS connotations, I would love if other users could be rallied to have their input with not just VRAINS allusions but also anything else from the previous series that may have been missed? (I even added slots for GX and 5D's, albeit just yours truly doing their allegories/allusions would take hella ages to do!) Also, if you have any expertise in something like this I wonder--should this page remain a forum page or can this be "de-forumed" and become a standard page so that other users who wanna lay in their input don't have to append their signature(s)? I mean, is this a forum page because some of these allusions could be viewed as more of speculation? If that's so, not all of this is true because some of these said spinoff series allusions are actually direct "continuity" to a previous series (e.g. character returns like Alexis Rhodes appearing in Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V, who uses a "Cyber Angel" Deck like her original character in GX and the appearance of Duel Academies in Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's and ARC-V after the GX Duel Academy.)

Lemme know what you think and if you're unsure, that's okay--maybe we could see what some admins think or whatever. Take it easy!  :))

--May FORZA be with you, your loved ones and friends!! (talkcontribs) 05:50, January 9, 2019 (UTC)

I see where you're coming from with 5D's and earlier. ZEXAL's references to previous series contained within did become absurdly high in total quickly as it went on. Furthermore, once ARC-V was announced and that this series turned out to be not that "original" either (do NOT take this as me criticizing the series as I have enjoyed them all in different ways regardless,) allusions within ARC-V were inevitable and even superseded well beyond ZEXALs. VRAINS has got to be the most innovative spinoff yet (at least in my book,) but I've even picked up on some callbacks within this one too (thanks in-part to TVTropes.org).
Fortunately for me even in retrospect, I found 5D's to have the fewest allusions to its predecessors and most of these I remembered in my head. Really, 5D's setting(s), the original KC Duel Disks used by The Enforcers, the Duel Academy episode, and Jack Atlas's Seto Kaiba complex were too conspicuous to just let slide. If I ever think GX allusions should be added just to complete all the spinoff comparisons, I'll only do the most direct allusions (I don't feel I nitpicked with VRAINS and 5D's--I've only added what I felt were either incredibly overt or highly detailed, yet that what eagle-eyed Yu-Gi-Oh! anime viewers can pick apart.) Guess then with all this, it is a good thing that the allusions page is a forum page and while it is kinda annoying to have to leave one's signature whenever it's edited (despite it not being a page with discussions/questions,) it's a small price to pay, for making these cross-checking tidbits known is well worth it.
As an aside, I normally don't put my noggin in other people's affairs but I couldn't help but notice the flagrant "You Have No People Skills" ad hominem below this message. Needing to wet this curiosity, I checked your response on his page and wow, kudos--you took care of the matter with a class that I don't think some of the "old guard" that once reigned here (let alone commoners like me) would of tolerated--that user would probably have been blocked by the admins of yesteryears in seconds! Personally, I sometime found myself standing up for injustices I see around me or who get wrongfully vilified (people or otherwise, like last summer, I saved a defenseless caterpillar being hauled to an ant's lair by dispatching the direct attackers and re-locating it under a leafy plant that was far away from any ants. Having been bullied quite often in my youth, I felt for the caterpillar.) However, rather than get on this user's level and give them a textual grilling (and rest-assured, I'm not gonna since that soul isn't worthy and I'd be no better than he/she is,) I'll let karma have her way with them and you can block the detractor if they keeps up. Don't let these "critics" get to you--It's just awesome that you in-part have stepped up to carry on the admin baton around here and if would-be-trolls like GalaxyWhiteDragon can't take the rules, they can go back under a bridge where they belong! >:}--May FORZA be with you, your loved ones and friends!! Updation of the "CardTable2" template

We need some help in updating the "Template:CardTable2", since its missing tags for the "Skill Card", making the card article incomplete, like with "It's a Toon World!" and "Millennium Eye".

I checked on "Yugipedia", and they have changed their template to incorporate the tags. But the template is complicated for my understanding (so can't easily take hints), and it could take me from a few weeks to months to figure it out and possibly try applying changes (since my coding skills are below average).

Also, we need a more clear indicator for cards that have been released (or would be released) in "Duel Links", since only a simple "yes" check doesn't seem enough.--Supratim1986 (talkcontribs) 06:59, January 17, 2019 (UTC)

Hello, could you please arbitrate on the tips page of "Card Tips:Mystical Space Typhoon? There is a certain user trying to include pointless tips (that are not even actual tips but edgy tricks applicable to virtually any quick-play), like "activate this during the opponent's end phase, so that they cant chain the targeted card",etc. What's your opinion on that? Thanks GustaphMax (talkcontribs) 13:09, January 23, 2019 (UTC)

Search not working?

Just wanted to point this out: Card Tips:Ib the World Chalice Miko has a search-run table detailing the World Chalice normal monsters, but it's missing Crowned by the World Chalice. It's a bit beyond my understanding, so I just wanted to point out there was a problem, and its not too obvious why (I hope). Thanks. Theotherguytm (talkcontribs) 21:14, January 23, 2019 (UTC)

Sometimes, the script seems to be buggy and card links don't appear or get linked properly.
What i do to fix that is go to the page, and do a 'blank/no edit save' (aka., saving the file in question without doing an edit on it). This usually fixes the problem, like it did with that page now.--Supratim1986 (talkcontribs) 21:31, January 23, 2019 (UTC)
Ok, looks like he already did it and its working now, thanks. Theotherguytm (talkcontribs) 16:19, January 24, 2019 (UTC)

Reply: Image

I have been "uploading a new image over the old name" for quite a while now.

I just upload a new image with "Preview" in its name, and then when the episode airs, either i (or someone else before me) rename the file to remove the "Preview", and i upload the new image over it. Its been quite long that i have stopped uploading new episode article images in a different upload (you can check all the previous uploads, and you would see that i always upload over the older one, for example this and this).--Supratim1986 (talkcontribs) 21:18, January 23, 2019 (UTC)

RE:Card lores

Greetings--hope you're well!  :D

Per the card lore I corrected, I watched the Specter and Lightning 2-part bout last night and Loorrdd, you know that song "Anything You Can Do (I Can Do Better)"? SOo, this Duel was just that--as in who could Extra Link better? The gestalt of this Duel was fresh. I enjoyed it as I think Specter especiallly, focused more on "out-Extra Linking" Lightning rather than outright beating him but I digress.

After the episode, I was combing through the cards used in the episode to better see how their effects were used (which I usually do) and I was puzzled as I came across "Armatos Legio Tribunus Militum" because I love to know who would knowingly copy and paste literally word-for-word, the effect lore of another card to this one when it clearly wasn't this card's effect? I simply corrected that lore (thanks to YugiPedia, which did have the right lore based on its effect) but because card lores need to obviously be verbatim, text-modding it wasn't an option, so I made hella sure to especially source-credit 'Pedia with this one! As for your request, I peered @ the "Card pages with a lore in need of transcription" and initially thought that these were cards whose lores were totally missing. But after seeing the large list and looking @ a few of them (including inter alia , a GX-era card,) I found this to be not true instead they're determined to be improperly transcribed from Japanese and need to be corrected (Captain Obvious said hi to me today!) I apologize but unfortunately, that's not a specialty I possess. I never took Japanese classes, nor self-taught myself the language (although yours truly having looked up numeric translations for some "Number" card interpretations as well as Japanese stock phrases from TVTropes.org (the latter just for kicks) was fun!) Indeed, I made it know that correcting the lore of "Tribuna Militum" was the first time I ever done such a thing here simply because I compared it to "Magna Dux" and recalling it's actual effect in the anime, I smelled a rat so again, why that lore was flagrantly copied I'll never know.

It stinks that I guess no one else here has this kinda niche yet and hopefully one shows up soon. Being as though I also let-alone can't read Japanese, even with the transcription notices prefacing each card in question, I keep telling myself that the English lores are Bible--as I've seen English YGO lores before Japanese ones, as long as it sounds like the lores of the time, good stuff. Given this, it's personally the (un)holy matrimony of conditioning and denial within my brain!  :P --May FORZA be with you, your loved ones and friends!! (talkcontribs) 21:17, February 7, 2019 (UTC)

Oh shoo I see what's up now--sorry if you misunderstood but I forgot to disclaim that I did not read the Japanese card lore on "Tribunus Militum" and translated accordingly--'Pedia's Englsih lore of this card matched up with it's true effect, rather than however in the blue hell that egregious copy/paste came from so I simply omitted the lazy copy. This is where you're request came from. I think I saw "Magna Dux"'s lore before "Tribunus Militum" and I knew both cards did not have identical effects simply based on watching the episode and seeing their effects in action (to also disclaim, yes, this non-Japanese fluent watches subs of any original episodes.) Some of the translations seem to make the episode more fun imo.) BTW, the GX era card I peered @ was "Time Fusion". I cross-checked its lore on 'Pedia and found that it was different and thus maybe corrected? One look @ the edit history later and it seems that this legend did the honors? Since it seems this one was fixed, I'll update that lore and credit 'Pedia for it but I'll leave the rest (if the folks on 'Pedia have done any others) to someone else. Perhaps we should rally anyone here who may be better acquainted with the "former guard" here to ask them if they have the proper lores in question and then said user(s) can undertake the transcriptions? Even with giving 'Pedia credit, what would be non-modifiable copy/pasting puts a bad taste in my mouth, especially with the tough times of yesteryears I had with some of the 'Pedia guard and my "second chance" here that I literally owe Wikia my soul for!
Yet with this all being said, thanks man--I appreciate you acknowledging that snafu that I'm surprised no one else noticed. Compared to the locked away "Scholarly", I've in-part been more open-minded with ventures here (e.g. repping the Beckett Yu-Gi-Oh! Collector was a good trip down memory lane as I was uploading the issue covers and has been one of my favorite adds here so far.) Moreover, I never corrected card lore before until today and if there's anything else like this that can be easily patched up, I'll see if I can do it. It was a good feeling to do an edit outside of my usual typicals and I look forward to any other roads not yet taken that could use my footprints! :)) --May FORZA be with you, your loved ones and friends!! Fully linked words

Ok, I use the visual editor a lot, so the main reason I was doing it was for appearance's sake (as having the full word linked appears and functions better from a simplistic interface standpoint). If you say it's causing a problem, I won't be doing that from now on. Thanks for letting me know there was an issue. Theotherguytm (talkcontribs) 19:56, February 16, 2019 (UTC)

Both Danielblack and Ygopol, have created a lot of articles under the TCG names, without checking on whether their OCG articles existed on not, they didn't even apply for a "rename" on the original article, and just created a new one. I did inform both of them to not do it on their "Wall", but i am not sure whether they listened or not.

To Be or NOT To Be? (Yugipedia)

Hey again, hope you're well and that the Spring is bringing awesomeness wherever you're @!

Listen, I'm not sure if anyone gave you this memo but I responded to this user when he called out UltimateKuriboh (UK) when the latter "warned" Igor and I about the "fact" that thanks to a new version of a Creative Commons (CC) license Yugipedia uses compared to Wikia, it is now no longer enough to credit 'Pedia for any work and that basically 'Pedia has Walt-Disney level control of not just their own content but maybe even non-copied content that anyone there suspects may be similar to theirs? If you know anything about the dichotomy of the CCs, both CCs versions in full are on the "called out" link from UK on Igor's page.

To try and keep this short based on my initially said treatise (and I'm not good at terseness with dilemmas,) I've been pretty disgusted with this notion that with the old guard on a new site, they're essentially "competing" with us for views, which may explain the CC errata I noted regarding the sharing of their content? UK realizes that this place started it all right? Furthermore, I quickly realized (thanks to you) that "small talk" content like Card Trivia and episode summaries can be re-worded and are (mostly) meant to be fun tidbits. However, content like product/promotional releases and card images are not as flexible. I by no means am anal to wanna find every single Yu-Gi-Oh! thing on Mother Earth, nor did Igor and I copy them edit-by-edit but if we can't at least reserve the right to KEEP UP with 'Pedia's bloated talent and progress they've been seamlessly churning out (which I've tried to notably account for by showing some International content some love here due to a creative lull I've had as of late,) than who are we? I know we should NEVER play second-fiddle to the old guard! >:(

Look, I'll abide by whatever you suggest we should do. It's easy to say that we should do our own work but it's a double standard--the very citing of sources has been the meat of how we (and other Wikis) fish out their most important franchise content. How is 'Pedia any different of a source? I wish that we (us and Pedia) were all in this together with the forkers that all began here but is 1-upping us in every way their goal now? Maybe I answered my own question--as I took note as to UK trying to apostatize Igor twice from here and as you correctly stated, where Igor edits is his choice and HIS alone! So forsooth, what can we do to efficiently keep pace with or even outdo 'Pedia? Take your time with this, be well and take it easy! --May FORZA be with you, your loved ones and friends!! (talkcontribs) 18:59, March 27, 2019 (UTC)

As a (hopeful) computer (in some form) guy, I giveth thee two thumbs way up for fancying the sciences. I fear the sciences are gonna suck really soon in my neck of the woods, as some of the basics in sciences in my motherland (i.e. from climate change deniers, religious fanatics, "anti-vaxxers" and even Flat-Earthers) are being sheepishly challenged! Good thing you don't have to live witness to this knotly rigamaroo here in the United States, hope you all aren't seeing this utter stupidity likewise.
Showing some love to the Beckett Yu-Gi-Oh! Collector magazines (a childhood favorite of mine) has so far been my favorite add on here that 'Pedia doesn't have. Good thing I struck when I did--I think the pics I got from Amazon are gone now. If anything else cool like this comes 'round, I look forward to giving them that recognition too. Indeed, you've alluded to the law of competition--part of which is the nuanced assets one entity has that the other(s) don't. But by the same token, I'd also think that part of these "assets" is also adapting to what other entities are doing (e.g. American companies like Payless, Toys-R-Us and Sears folding due mostly (but not fully) to failing to adapt efficiently into the digital age.) Here I'd say an example of the former would be this here gallery. As of this message, 'Pedia is significantly is short on these but once I found a site like this, I gladly uploaded some (mostly) good Italian card scans. An instance of the latter however, might say, be us keeping up with new YGO merch, episodes, manga, etc. It's so hypocritical though--if 'Pedia and Wikia are working towards the same goal, our directives are identical whether we copy each other or do our own shtick and the dichotomy of our works are bound to run parallels. Maybe even contradictory if due to the CC differences if technically 'Pedia can copy us but we can't copy them. So I guess it's best to do our own thing with the more rigid input here if we can (although I unfortunately might not be able to help myself use (mostly) their images if I can't find equally good ones via reverse image searching the same ones through theirs because I won't stoop down to upload knowingly sub-par content just to appease another site cause it all started here and we should see that YGO Wikia never "falls behind".) On the contrary, I think I'm pretty good now with what content you can be original with and what you can't and I've recently had my more austere edits reflect that. My hope forthwith, is that any of the formers that may peek back here will see that we do not have malicious intent or are stealing any of their stuff if we can't find certain content elsewhere but that because of some voids that we're trying to fill here (mostly due to us needing more users to fill the BIG shoes the formers were once in,) I just want the genesis of this venture to be just as awesome as to where its telophased cytokinetic replica decided to roost at!  :) --May FORZA be with you, your loved ones and friends!! Vrains 098 & 099

Just wanted to ask, what was your source for those 2 episodes. Because i checked around on NAC and Maxut, but i didn't find any info on those two episodes.
Wanted to confirm because today is "April 1st", so many fake stuff might appear around.--Supratim1986 (talkcontribs) 15:09, April 1, 2019 (UTC)

If i am right, the source is an article from another Wikia, right? So its more doubtful, especially since there isn't any Japanese title for it, and the fact that the other wikia also doesn't link or mention any Japanese source.--Supratim1986 (talkcontribs) 15:19, April 1, 2019 (UTC)

Are you ready? (full ver.)

I added the video link (from the official YT channel of BiS) here, after i just listened some part of the song to confirm if it was the correct one. But after linking, i say the whole Music Video, and now i am not sure if it would be ok to link that here or not (the actual lyrics of the song are quite gruesome type, and some bloody description is showcased as well). So, can you watch the video and see if it would be fit to link here or not.--Supratim1986 (talkcontribs) 20:24, April 4, 2019 (UTC)

Ok then. I didn't actually know that the target users for the site was supposed to be 13+ years old, i thought it was around 8+ years old or something, that's why i raised the question (because some other people might possibly have problem).
As for linking full music video of the OP and ED, i saw some articles already having them (that's why i added a few more). And i think as long as we link the full MV from from the Official YT channel (of the performing group in question), it should be ok.--Supratim1986 (talkcontribs) 09:46, April 5, 2019 (UTC)

Edit War between me and Whatever1234567

Me and User:Whatever1234567 are duking it out on the translated JP name of Naturia. JP is Nachuru, which he keeps saying it's Natul which isn't even a word. While I say it's Natural. Can you please help stop this. Pitifulheartles (talkcontribs) 15:22, April 7, 2019 (UTC)

Edit War Going on

There is a big Edit War going on for the result on "Varis Vs Lightning" duel from VRAINS 098, under the "Duel" section on the article of Varis and Lightning.

As per the episode in question, Lightning activated an effect which dealt equal damage to both the opponents, which would have resulted in a "draw" between them (as both of them had really low LP). But as per the plot, Lightning had somehow managed to convert some of Jin Kolter's data into LP and manages to stay with 1 LP left at the end of the duel.

So, while technically it should be Lightning's win (even if its sort of cheated win), but people are going on changing it between "Lose" and "Draw". And i am not really sure how to act in this situation.--Supratim1986 (talkcontribs) 13:48, April 18, 2019 (UTC)

Thanks for managing that.
And sorry i am not so good with handling these kind of stuff. I recently ended up having a sort of long argument on the "Arifureta" Wikia which i adopted last month, and i don't really feel good with those kind of situations.--Supratim1986 (talkcontribs) 19:45, April 18, 2019 (UTC)

Why are my edits to the Varis and Lightning pages being reverted?

I see that you and User:Pitifulheartles have been reverting my edits to the Varis and Lightning character summaries. I don't understand why - I revised to use direct quotes from the episodes, and also reworded it to be more neutral as to whether there was a DRAW or not. Why is this a problem? Isn't it better to have more accurate info? EarlofDemise (talkcontribs) 22:25, April 26, 2019 (UTC)

I appreciate your response on my talk page. Would this edit be acceptable instead https://imgur.com/a/2RhEgdI? I disagree that Eques's effect necessarily meant both players look like they'd be defeated - that was one possible outcome, but Lightning might've had an effect to reduce his own damage to zero, or Varis might've had a counter, so I rewrote with that and your feedback in mind. EarlofDemise (talkcontribs) 23:26, April 26, 2019 (UTC)

It was for that very reason that they did not plan to use any card effect to prevent damage, that means Lightning completely cheated. Was not "fate" or some outside magical force that simply allowed him to try to win, like Kaiba pulling Obelisk out of the ground to defeat Diva. Pitifulheartles (talkcontribs) 11:57, April 29, 2019 (UTC)

Where to give feedbacks?

Hi, I've been wondering if there was a page on here where users can give feedback based on their experience here. I've been trying to look for that feature, but couldn't find one. Do we happen to have that on here?--Craig.taylor.756 (talkcontribs) 01:42, April 30, 2019 (UTC)

Are you think about banning Charles Phoenix?

As I'm sure you know from earlier today, Charles has no problem with insulting and belittling people. That's a sign of a narcissist, right?

Anyway, since he has no problems trying to cause people trouble, would that warrant a ban?--Craig.taylor.756 (talkcontribs) 21:57, May 1, 2019 (UTC)

How you been + some questions

SALUTATIONS GOOD SIR! Hope things are still going good!  :) If it's okay, I has a few questions:

1) As I've been showing some of the International card galleries some love, I came across this poignant article on how a couple of yesteryears ago (not sure if this is still a thing in the country but,) the Korean YGO realm concocted an interesting way to spread a serious subject matter. What would that be and how? I understand that they sneaked in card-sized missing children notices in the booster packs! Unflippingbelievable--guess this milk carton tactic found some new legs! While this is such a weighty issue and a real-life matter that most might not think about coupling with this franchise, I'd love to know if you think we could at least make a note of this modus operandi here. While its an unsettling matter (and it shocked even a most steely soul like me,) I did find this a great way to get these around to more eyes in the hopes these lost youths can be found; this is also something that after a quick search on their site Yugipedia doesn't seem to have noted. If we could acknowledge the real-life Make-A-Wish Foundation promotional card and the amazing story behind it, then why not this? What do you think?

2) I'm late to this party but since you're across the pond, I'm curious--what's this "Article 13" that passed in Europe? From reads, it looks similar to this 2012 hell on Earth the States almost had? Has it affected Internet life in your country and would any of its provisions affect Wikias (like this one) in general? I sincerely hope that (mostly digital) life isn't more eggshelly for y'all because of this.

Take it easy and have a good weekend!  :)--May FORZA be with you, your loved ones and friends!! (talkcontribs) 16:57, May 10, 2019 (UTC)

Hi, Energy X. I have a problem with the page Black-Winged Dragon Where it seems to be empty, I tried to edit it, and when it shows the edit section I can see that everything is here but it's just not showing up for some reason. I don't have this problem with any of the other card pages except for this one.

Introduction

Hey! My name is Atvelonis, and I'm the Fandom Wiki Manager for the Yu-Gi-Oh! Wiki as well as an admin on Elder Scrolls. I'm sure the fork last year has made things a little difficult, so I'm here to act as a liaison between the wiki and Fandom Staff. If you ever have any questions or issues related to the wiki, or if someone in your team/community does, feel free to reach out to me on my talk page or on Discord (Atvelonis#9495) and I can help out! —Atvelonis (talkcontribs) 15:33, May 12, 2019 (UTC)

That's odd. My understanding is that the {{Ruby}} template just creates a popup to help with readability for foreign languages. When did this problem first start happening? I know that FishTank recently switched the template to a Lua Module. Did the issue start occurring around then, or was it happening beforehand? —Atvelonis (talkcontribs) 17:56, May 12, 2019 (UTC)
Sure, I can take a look. I'll get back to you if I run into any problems. —Atvelonis (talkcontribs) 20:18, May 14, 2019 (UTC)

RE: Yugipedia

Hey again--you know the funny thing is, I was recently wondering why you didn't get back to me about the "Article 13" fiasco as well as whether those missing children's notices in Korean packs should get a mention here in some form? Guess I know why you didn't reply to these now... :(

I don't have any excuses for this--my aforementioned notion of doing my best to "keep up with #1" is getting to me; in this case, what led to a big brain fart on what is otherwise a Duel page with wiggle room. I'm not here to cause trouble man, I just want YGO Wikia to be as close to on-par with 'Pedia as possible. I was doing my own thing here at first for the most part with Trivias and missing non-card media but when I realized through my surfs here that the "moving out" of the olden clan has caused a significant lacking in content that 'Pedia is effortlessly filling in, I was really upset at how this (as I even type this) is incrementally happening--the place where it all started doesn't deserve this! >:(

When I first tried to catch up to them by updating our 2018 releases timeline, I knew full well (and did) to credit them like any other site where source material was extracted from. However after the notices from the 'Pedia folk came in, even this is apparently not enough--this previously mentioned Disney-level copyright strictness is real but how is 'Pedia different from other YGO sources, in which crediting the latter is A-OK? Suggested advice from the old folk on how to best do this isn't even worth thinking about--I can't mend any bridges with anyone on 'Pedia because quite frankly, I shouldn't even be back here in the first place and any attempts to even message anyone there will do nothing but open old wounds. However, my love and honor of doing what I did here as ArcadiasScholarly (despite my many flaws back in the day) was too great and it's been a honor to share some of my knowledge and goodwill here because even when I hit rock-bottom then, I never stopped coming here; this is my #1 source of everything YGO.

I under NO circumstances wanna earn anyone's ire (let alone yours) because of this and I sincerely hope I haven't permanently gotten on your nasty side here now. There's no one to talk to on how to keep up with them without making an a$$ out of myself doing original creates that I don't know the first thing about. But why accept dialing back completely when missing/new YGO content is in gallons? I'm just doing my best to still make YGO Wikia worth it and I'll do whatever that may be to keep it (and keep up) that way. Is everything still cool with us? Hoping it is and if so, lemme know if those missing children notices from KR boosters is notable enough for inclusion here + what this "Article 13" thing is? Be well and take it easy!--May FORZA be with you, your loved ones and friends!! (talkcontribs) 16:17, May 13, 2019 (UTC)

Hey there again, I haven't heard from you yet--please let me know if everything is still cool, if those missing children in Korean packs is worth noting and what this "Article 13" is? I'm also just attempting to in-part, do my best keeping up with some things that are getting left behind due to the aforementioned lack of user power here. I don't wanna be on anyone's nasty side here and I hope that I'm not!?  :(--May FORZA be with you, your loved ones and friends!! (talkcontribs) 14:27, May 15, 2019 (UTC)
(* breaths sigh of relief) Thanks man--that meant a lot!  :) I just gotta remember what you told me prior that if I wanna "update" anything here, to recall what can be called plagiarism (like anime summaries, archetype descriptions, character information) and what technically cannot (like card texts/errata, content uploads or maybe even merch releases?) Kept examples short to keep this short but yeah. I'm not out to cover every lagging area here; I mostly pick and choose that stuff but it's areas that seem the most lacking.
On that note of "keeping up", I noticed someone here getting us caught up with a specific video game in uploading some media (Yu-Gi-Oh! The Eternal Duelist Soul)? That's awesome, I think 'Pedia took a big aim at in-part uploading/updating VG content recently in their edits but I'm glad to know more egregious holes like that are getting filled! Sorta speaking of which, I think I'll in fact make a note of the Korean children thing here too--the link on Kotaku shows what appears to be a user on a Japanese 4-Chan-style forum site uploading pulls from a Korean Ancient Prophecy booster, which later shows the missing children notices. I initially contemplated making a note of this on the booster pack page of the same name but I also just came across this subreddit where this tactic has been employed in other packs. So I think I'll do this on a separate page. It seems hella taboo to include something like this on a FANDOM but like the mentioned Make-A-Wish Foundation promotional card, there's only good intentions with this in that the kids will hopefully be found. As usual, give me a holler if ya have any questions/comments! Take it easy. :)--May FORZA be with you, your loved ones and friends!! (talkcontribs) 21:57, May 15, 2019 (UTC)

What do you mean by "archetypes"? Are you entirely sure you know what you're doing? Honestly, I'm having a hard time understanding any of your statements, which honestly sound a lot like broken English. I'm not claiming to be more "knowledgeable" than anyone, I'm by now means infallible, but if someone disagrees, I will clarify my reasoning. All you've done so far, doesn't seem to be "fixes", because you just keep doing things that you personally feel are right without proving that they are right, especially in terms of providing sources. Like seriously, what does Google Maps have to do with Yu-Gi-Oh!? How the hell's Google Translate a "source"? Most of all, you've kept refusing to discuss sensibly. I would like to know what "fixes" you've done, but you just don't want to talk.Whatever1234567 (talkcontribs) 16:38, May 13, 2019 (UTC)
You're reply has more broken english and misspellings than I ever have. If you want to see what I've fixed, compare your contributions to mine. Pitifulheartles (talkcontribs) 16:41, May 13, 2019 (UTC)
I've never cited "Google as a source". I've only included Google as circumstantial evidence against ridiculous unfounded claims made by User:Pitifulheartles, backed by NO SOURCES (if you somehow count Google Maps as a "source" more reliable than Google search.)
"You're reply has more broken english and misspellings than I ever have" Fucking forget it. I won't deal with this clueless idiot any more.Whatever1234567 (talkcontribs) 06:47, May 14, 2019 (UTC)

Wiki Manager

Hi Energy X!

It's been a while, how are you? I wanted to drop by to let you know I am now the Wiki Manager for the Yu-Gi-Oh! Wiki!

This role gives the Yu-Gi-Oh! Wiki a bigger connection with Fandom staff, with me acting as the first port of call for wiki issues and to assist with any concerns you have. I can resolve them myself quickly if possible, or liaise with full-time Fandom staff as required.

Glad to speak to you again! If you have questions about anything related to the wiki, please let me know. :) --Spongebob456 talk 13:14, May 18, 2019 (UTC)

Re: Help

The Semantic MediaWiki ask calls for English chapter number, which seems to be defined in {{Infobox/Yu-Gi-Oh!/Chapter}} as as only being able to take integers as input, rather than strings like SP1 (see the ref error message as well). So applying the ref parameter with a made-up number instead of SP1 affects the output in a way that's technically inaccurate, but since it has a link to the actual episode I suppose it isn't the end of the world. Spongebob or I could certainly update the other special chapters' SMW properties in the same way at some point, or maybe find a more suitable workaround with the template.

By the way, I stumbled across Forum:Link corrections the other day. Are you guys going through Special:WhatLinksHere and fixing all the links by hand? If you'd like, I could very easily configure AWB to fix the links with my bot, automatically or semi-automatically as needed. I imagine you have other things to focus on than link maintenance. :P —Atvelonis (talkcontribs) 03:45, May 20, 2019 (UTC)

Gotcha. I'll get started on that shortly. —Atvelonis (talkcontribs) 03:28, May 21, 2019 (UTC)
What's your policy on link corrections on articles outside of ns:0? User profiles, forum comments, etc. And how would you like me to handle situations where [[Life Points]] (for example) is being used in something like a card description? i.e. there is no pipe, so I would either have to let it be or add a pipe [[LP|Life Points]]. I know that some wikis are fine with redirects, but others aren't, so I wanted to check. —Atvelonis (talkcontribs) 17:47, May 21, 2019 (UTC)
Yeah, that works. And regarding the link corrections, I fixed a few hundred yesterday, but I'm still curious about your preference on redirects vs. pipe links. I'd just prefer not to make a call about the formatting and then have to correct it later. :P Atvelonis (talkcontribs) 19:12, May 22, 2019 (UTC)

Darkness Approaches and us

Hii, i'd like to know why the effect descripted in the page of Darkness Approaches does not match with the effect described in the image of said card. I corrected it, but someone reverted my editing.

--OnePiece (talkcontribs) 11:49, May 20, 2019 (UTC)

The reasoning is as described on the page. The official DB has changed its effect. This is due to the way Link Monsters function. Darkness Approaches is now a terrible Normal Spell version of Book of Moon. Pitifulheartles (talkcontribs) 18:13, May 20, 2019 (UTC)

Artwork submitted by an editor.

Hello there.

I just wished to contact a staff member to enquire whether the "Rose Lover", "Lose 1 Turn", "Arrivalrivals" and both "Loop of Destruction" artwork files uploaded by user Pmn7000 are legit ones. I suspect they don't belong to a game which was released years before the TCG/OCG release of said cards. --AzureKesil (talkcontribs) 10:38, May 24, 2019 (UTC)

Those 'could' be crop of artwork images uploaded on the Japanese Official Twitter account (not 100% sure though).
Or, just could be crops from a high quality actual card image.--Supratim1986 (talkcontribs) 11:00, May 24, 2019 (UTC)
As far as I have seen, the Twitter account images always have some pesky text. I know that the official YouTube account does showcase artwork on its vids, but all pieces come from brand new cards. Anyway, I'm pretty sure they don't come from Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's Tag Force 4. And make sure I wish I could find such absurdly high-res card images.
EDIT: Using inverse image searching, I found out that all of them (and some more) came from this DeviantArt account. --AzureKesil (talkcontribs) 14:26, May 24, 2019 (UTC)

Hello. I would just like to say that the point of a wiki is to gather information and encourage the expansion of said information, allowing for an extremely useful pool of data anyone can use. However, your recent actions regarding my edits, as well some other past edits, are quite the opposite and show regression in place of progression. Please consider learning how a wiki should be properly run before looking like an absolute imbecile who can take the time to undo other people’s work yet can’t take 5 minutes to improve said work and actually contribute instead of hitting the undo button.

I would also like to say, I don’t give a damn if I’m forbidden from editing this wiki just because of your pettiness. Like I said, a wiki is supposed to grow, not undo edits because someone can’t be bothered to correct any mistakes they see.

Just because "no one complained" doesn’t mean it can’t be improved to be consistent. Besides, like I said, instead of simply undoing things, try to actually improve what someone else did, unlike something such as the Seraphim Papillon reversion. If you have the time to remove it you have the time to improve it. DaemonicTyrant 20:02, June 4, 2019 (UTC)

Sorry, forgot to inform

Well, its the new Manga adaptation for Yu-Gi-Oh following the end of "Yu-Gi-Oh Arc-V Manga". And unlike the previous series, this one isn't a alternate adaptation for the Anime series. This is an original series with all new characters, and focuses more on the competitive side of the gaming giving focus on teaching readers on game-play mechanic and even giving out a Sample Deck Recipes for newly introduced archetypes.

For more info, check ygorganization.
And Sample Deck Recipes for "Tenyi" and "Simorgh" included in the first chapter released this week.--Supratim1986 (talkcontribs) 07:47, June 22, 2019 (UTC)

Re: Template

Hey, the reason that {{Manga card}} isn't displaying DEF on Linkuriboh (OCG Structures) is because the variable isn't being used on that article (I think that ??? is just the default setting). And I believe that the appears_in_ocgs variable should start to work once the Yu-Gi-Oh! OCG Structures pages are created.

My understanding is that link_rating is supposed to automatically generate an integer based off the number of terms entered in link_arrows, per {{ #vardefine: $link_rating | {{ #arraysize: @link_arrows }}. Is this correct? If so, I'm not quite sure why it's not displaying, but this is something that I can look into. —Atvelonis (talkcontribs) 21:14, June 24, 2019 (UTC)

Ah, I see. Well, the simplest fix would be to manually add def to each link monster article and just write "N/A" as the content for the variable, or to tell the template not to generate def at all when it's not listed. The first would be easy for editors to understand, but one extra thing to add (could be done with a bot). The second option is a one-time fix, but might make readers think that the wiki doesn't know the info, as opposed to it being nonexistent in the series. That said, pages like Appliancer Laundry Dragon don't have def show up as it is, so it probably wouldn't be an issue.
It would probably just take an {{#if}} and {{#pos}} check to change the template itself, but the infoboxes on this wiki are complex enough as it is, so where additional parser functions can be avoided, they probably should. Regardless, Staff are in the process of totally redesigning the infoboxes wiki-wide ({{CardTable2}}, {{Manga card}}, etc.), because they're so complex and not portable to mobile devices at all. As such, it would be prudent to hold off with specific template redesigns until then, because the code will have to be rewritten anyway. I'll make sure these quirks make it through to the final product, though! —Atvelonis (talkcontribs) 17:01, June 27, 2019 (UTC)
I'm not sure I understand the issue. Are you talking about {{Yu-Gi-Oh! OCG Structures chapters}} at the bottom of the page, or the category Category:Yu-Gi-Oh! OCG Structures chapters? Both of these need to be created independently of the article. Or are you saying that links to the Yu-Gi-Oh! OCG Structures - Chapter 001 page always appear red, even though the page exists? If that's what you mean, it sounds like it could be a caching issue. If you clear your browser cache, then I imagine it should be colored properly. Sometimes the database gets a little confused if a lot of new pages are created at the same time, or just randomly. —Atvelonis (talkcontribs) 21:15, June 27, 2019 (UTC)
Oh! Of course, I see now. It's strange that it's not generating properly. I've been staring at the code for a little while and the OCG Structures syntax is identical to all the other series, but the output just doesn't have the link syntax around it, for some reason. {{Manga card/appears}} is working fine for all the other ones, just not this, which doesn't really make sense because that's the only place where the code to generate the link is stored, and it hasn't been edited in four years. I'll give it some more thought and see if I can come up with anything. —Atvelonis (talkcontribs) 21:47, June 27, 2019 (UTC)

Dragon Maid

Is there any harm for now in putting a jokey reference to kobayashi's dragon maid theme in the playing style section until we get the actual style? Pitifulheartles (talkcontribs) 12:02, June 25, 2019 (UTC)

On Chaos Impact page

Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon is a well-established sub-archetype of Galaxy-Eyes and the new Trap card excliptly states "a 'Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon' monster. Unless you think it is cluttering the page (which is admittedly fair), there is no reason to remove it. Farfington7896 (talkcontribs) 09:49, July 12, 2019 (UTC)

Have you actually seen the page I linked here? Farfington7896 (talkcontribs) 14:19, July 12, 2019 (UTC)

Yugipedia Copying

Since you addressed Arcadias (aka Italian) with the following message:
Yeah, don't do that. Since you have been warned before, the next time this happens, a block will be initiated. Just to keep things fair. I'm letting you know about this since it has been repeated, with edit activity starting from July 15 2019 (involving Tag Force characters). I assume the copied content will be reverted/deleted, in addition to the block. --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 18:06, July 15, 2019 (UTC)

Thank you, but that's just a means to an end; the content is still there. Are you going to revert/delete the content yourself, or is Arcadias going to do it? He can't delete the images (you have to), but what happens if he doesn't remove the written content? --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 00:06, July 16, 2019 (UTC)

I decided to revert the content myself, but the images still need to be deleted, since they weren't taken directly from the game (rather, they were taken from Yugipedia). --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 00:55, July 16, 2019 (UTC)

RE:Copying

SALUTATIONS AGAIN GOOD SIR! Been a while since our last chat(s)! :)

I've come to learn that usually more often than not, blockees are either troublemakers or if not, volley hissies as to why. Actually, thank you--you're the last person I'd be ever upset with and I needed that insisted Sabbath after something I came across. Furthermore, my birthday happened to be yesterday and I mostly just chilled, texted back/forth with family and even scanned some good YGO pulls for record keeping.

It seems as though now this competitiveness in 'Pedia culture is now in super full swing! Furor ensued in me after I happened upon this ad on some of their pages:

Help support Yugipedia by installing our new Chrome extension. This extension automatically redirects any links to the old Wikia/Fandom site to Yugipedia to ensure that you're always viewing the most up-to-date information available. You can enable the extension by clicking "Add to Chrome" on the app's webstore entry. For those of you using Firefox, don't worry—a Firefox add-on to do the same thing will be out soon. If you have any issues with the extension or you come across any bugs, be sure to let us know on Discord!

Instead of more subjective assumptions, I got objective with this, called their bluff and downloaded the extension (although I use the Opera browser, there was a convenient Chrome extension add-on that was prompted to me; I downloaded that first before the YGOWiki Redirector, making it cross-compatible with Opera.) After everything was in place and the app enabled, I did three things: A) Did a Google search of (and clicked on) this Wikia's home page, B) Tried a search engine look-up (I did "Number 39: Utopia" in this case) and C) clicked any link (in this case, Number 39: Utopia (character).) To my shock, all these three activities worked; with each one, I was redirected to each respective YugiPedia page as each respective Wikia's page attempted to load.

Enough is enough! First UK tried proselytizing the AMAZING Igor here to 'Pedia and now not only do they call OUR site "old" but now even non-editors can get a plugin that essentially says (a la Kaiba) "Screw the FANDOM, we're Yugiohing in the 22nd century?" Being at my wit's end that now I know that they "think they know" that we'll never keep up with their library of user talent, yes, having noticed that updated LONG overdue missing Tag Force NPC info was something that was stagnating here forever, I did copy some of those pages here. I heard through their grapevine that some of their users are actually playing through the games to acquire the missing info they have. And it's a s**tload of a long time to do in order to comb through TF games (let alone any YGO game for that matter) to get all that. And similar to other areas, I don't have a bone in my body to rally other users to these incomplete sections. Take it from my experience in avoiding salespeople!  :T

When UK messaged you, I really wanted to let him have it--if he even gave a rat's tail as to how I'm nothing like I was as ArcadiasScholarly, then he should have read all the other constructive talks I've had with everyone about (mostly) how we can best keep up with them. But if he's still conditioned that I'm still a loony in his mind, than I don't care but I'd say to UK, don't you dare take any jabs at US or YGO Wikia because we are not going anywhere! The only thing that stopped me from the Philly coming out @ UK was that I know he wants me to do that sort of thing so that he can throw the book at me again and see to it I'm booted outta here for good!

There's no way I'm giving UK any kind of satisfaction like that but nor do I wanna have any hicuppy contributions here give us a below-the-belt rep. I hope that I've been helping out here the best I can and I apologize if in any way I did anything in a way that it seems otherwise? I'm sure my block was what you felt was doing what you felt was right but that being said, I hope things are still good with us--everyone whom I've conversed with has been great with me and I just wanna do my best lending my YGO knowledge and whatever other contribs/assistance I can do.  :)--May FORZA be with you, your loved ones and friends!! (talkcontribs) 23:02, July 18, 2019 (UTC)

Thanks again, man!  :)) I actually first attempted original passages on this interesting event. BOY, would this be a fun escape room theme; I've never done one of these myself but I'd be all in with such a motif--if only they'd bring this to the States!  :( If 'Pedia can't accept good-willed citations for their work on our end (with of course originality when applicable) due to us merely playing catch-up, they can buzz out but again, we're staying put because I may not speak for everyone but I guess we like the nuances FANDOM provides?
Wow, that's now two invites ta Discord (Atvelonis invited me first.) I never been a chatroom kinda person since IM bit the bullet with America Online but there's nothing like real-time convos. That being said, maybe I'll uh, keep an open mind and give it a shot? Only faux pas is that my first invite expired; if you want, you can send me another one but I'm good either way. Hope you're doing good! :))--May FORZA be with you, your loved ones and friends!! (talkcontribs) 18:58, July 22, 2019 (UTC)

Editing Cleanup Pages

Hi there. I'm working on the Wiki's Cleanup pages. I finished a page, but I can't seem to find the policy on what to do afterwards.

Do you want me to:
1) Remove the cleanup shortcode
2) Inform Admins about it
3) .....

Let me know. Thanks :) Zuleika B (talkcontribs) 10:56, July 22, 2019 (UTC)

yugipedia plagiarism @Ignister

Question

Why were the categories I added for Antagonists and Deceased Characters deleted? 07:12, September 20, 2019 (UTC)

Duel Summary Format

As I've already established, I was the one who introduced the formatting: Have a recall of the field state, and list the effect details before specifying the card involved.

For this case, I was fully focusing on adding entries. I was so focused I disregard most of the quality control, so there goes many typos. 0123456789 The GreatだいなるNumbersナンバーズ」 14:52, September 25, 2019 (UTC)

I didn't do it for previous episodes because I was not closely following the series. And regarding the state recall, I do not know about that. 0123456789 The GreatだいなるNumbersナンバーズ」 04:23, September 26, 2019 (UTC)

Cyberse World

If you look at the background, you can tell the settings are the same as Cyberse World after it was destroyed. Barren land, red sky and clouds. And after Ai vanished, the world around began to dissolve as well. NightFuryLover31 (talkcontribs) 22:02, September 25, 2019 (UTC)

Oh. Well then, I'm not sure. I was writing what was written on a link for ep. 120's page. NightFuryLover31 (talkcontribs) 22:14, September 25, 2019 (UTC)

PAGENAME vs actual name

What's the impact of using PAGENAME vs printing out the card's name? Won't it be easier in the future in case the name of the card gets changed? Pitifulheartles (talkcontribs) 15:03, October 14, 2019 (UTC)
