Well, it was just an assumption those two pages were the same, I didn't know how to check that. Yeah, in the future, the move you said should be used. Energy X 09:19, December 14, 2018 (UTC)

FW: Yu-Gi-Oh! series allusions page

Salutations. I hope your holidays (if you celebrate any) have been great.

I asked MasterMarik an inquiry regarding this forum page that I've often tended to in repping the cross-series connotations within Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS. If it's okay with you, I'd like to pass on what I asked MasterMarik to you because as I see that you have edited this forum in the past, maybe you have a better idea about the following? Let me know what you think.

Not sure if anyone's been aware but I've been on/off adding to this Yu-Gi-Oh! spinoff series cross-allusions reference forum page. The page doesn't seem to have been touched since VRAINS started but I've been repping the VRAINS's allusions to previous series since (particularly within Season 2) there's been too many of these to ignore (and yet I thought VRAINS would stick it to the rest of the spinoff series that have allusions-a-plenty! Perhaps, not...  :\ )

Anywho, I just wanted to note that while I have been trying to add VRAINS connotations, I would love if other users could be rallied to have their input with not just VRAINS allusions but also anything else from the previous series that may have been missed? (I even added slots for GX and 5D's, albeit just yours truly doing their allegories/allusions would take hella ages to do!) Also, if you have any expertise in something like this I wonder--should this page remain a forum page or can this be "de-forumed" and become a standard page so that other users who wanna lay in their input don't have to append their signature(s)? I mean, is this a forum page because some of these allusions could be viewed as more of speculation? If that's so, not all of this is true because some of these said spinoff series allusions are actually direct "continuity" to a previous series (e.g. character returns like Alexis Rhodes appearing in Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V, who uses a "Cyber Angel" Deck like her original character in GX and the appearance of Duel Academies in Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's and ARC-V after the GX Duel Academy.)

Lemme know what you think and if you're unsure, that's okay--maybe we could see what some admins think or whatever. Take it easy!  :))

Hey, Happy New Year! :)))
I apologize in advance for this uber-tardy response but I did get your reply regarding my dilemma with the allusions forum page. It's all good--hakuna matata! The beauty about any fandom (see what I did there) is that we're not all the same--we have different levels of interests and intensities for each one and not all of us are stoic about every aspect of it. Personally me with Yu-Gi-Oh! for example, I mostly fancy the anime and card game (e.g. and NOT the manga (minus their exclusive promos), action figures and playing this shiznate for fun, rather than be a gung-ho tournament freak! >:O
That said, before this reply, I've invoked the "Rule of Three" trope and I've asked an admin (Energy X) about this. Whatever he thinks, I'll take such as Bible and I'll let it go. Naturally though if any allusions come to mind (not just from me of course,) you and the rest of the Wikia gang need not have any qualms in going for it. Thanks and take it easy!  :)) --May FORZA be with you, your loved ones and friends!! (talkcontribs) 06:02, January 9, 2019 (UTC)

Boobs

I stopped, which is why I joined yugioh abridged. I found the best website, if you love Tea gardener, Mai valentine, and harpies boobs! Its caled yugioh abridged. You may visit if you want. The boobs are beautiful and they jiggle. Mais bikini falls off and the harpies lose all their clothe! its beautiful. THank you for yoiur help, but my time on this wiki is over. I reside in the abridged. THere are beautiful fanfiction about tea gardener, her boobs, and mai and her boobies. I love boobs and especially yugioh ones such as harpie lady and tea gardener. I have a bare boobed harpie lady card if you want to buy. Its so sexy with her nipples!! This is the last youll see of me in this wiki, so farewell.

P.S. THink about that harpie lady card. Her boobs are completely exposed!--Akfmds23 (talkcontribs) 04:19, January 4, 2019 (UTC)

Also, I have the card with a naked female pouring water over her exposed boobs. It got censored, but I got the japanese version. Her tits look nice.--Akfmds23 (talkcontribs) 04:30, January 4, 2019 (UTC)

Edit war

Since you two are in a constant argument, I'll give you a week to clear things out. If the conflict is not resolved, the only thing I could also do is to delete the pages. After all, if the names aren't even confirmed, why should we even have the pages?? Considering that the duration of the arc is interpreted subjectively. Another thing is, why aren't you arguing with ARC-V arcs like this one? Energy X 14:14, March 9, 2019 (UTC)

Well, regardless of the version, I'd have locked the page down; it is just so there are no conflicts anymore. Energy X 10:44, March 10, 2019 (UTC)

Block

And he is blocked. Again. Do check things first before posting a message, since I blocked them already. Energy X 12:12, March 13, 2019 (UTC)

Re: User Right Request

Thank you for the message. You are clearly a competent editor, but I don't think it's my place to make decisions about user rights—at least not on my own. I am not a very long-standing member here, and am only beginning to get to know other editors. I'd be happy to discuss the matter with Energy X or another current staff member, but I will ultimately defer to their choice. —Atvelonis (talkcontribs) 00:23, May 23, 2019 (UTC)

Since Energy X supports your reinstatement, I've gone ahead and given you the rights. Please let me know if there's anything else you need! —Atvelonis (talkcontribs) 21:29, May 25, 2019 (UTC)

Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Links page Kalin Kessler Matter

Are you aware that Energy X changed your edit --Techout 1 22:16, May 29, 2019 (UTC)

Yes. I've seen it. He moved Kalin under the "Non-playable" section for he is not yet playable. The page will be updated when he becomes playable. 0123456789 The Great 02:35, May 30, 2019 (UTC)
Thanks I always like to keep the wiki in theknow on everythin duel links so if there is anything I can do to help just let me know --Techout 1 15:03, May 30, 2019 (UTC)

Template:Furigana

why Template:Furigana when there is Template:Ruby and Template:Ruby2 ? --hanmac (talkcontribs) 12:37, June 23, 2019 (UTC)

Ruby2 can be used where massive template use caused the page to crash --hanmac (talkcontribs) 14:32, June 23, 2019 (UTC)

"Archfiend's Manifestation" and other FIGA card Effects

Just informing you that the English effect i posted there is from "db.yugioh-card.com" (a direct copy), so its official (even including the part "but is still treated as an "Archfiend" card", which you edited out). You can check it here FIGA EN.--Supratim1986 (talkcontribs) 14:56, August 9, 2019 (UTC)

I did not know that it is official. Sorry 'bout that. "Horrendous as it may be, official is official". 0123456789 The GreatだいなるNumbersナンバーズ」 15:07, August 9, 2019 (UTC)

Tips reply.

I know tips are not meant for competitive players. They're mostly meant for newer players who are getting into the game, with some more experienced players learning about a new card. But these tips aren't just not modern or not competitive, they're flat-out bad. A card which has been Limited due to its power to rapidly drop LP and he's recommending a way to heal, when healing cards have never been good in yugioh's history (ironically, until now because of the new time rules), the other card is dead if you don't draw a 1-of, and the whole point of the card is to decrease your LP. There's a line between "effective combo" and "something that might come up when playing draft format with my little brother". Theotherguytm (talkcontribs) 19:39, September 22, 2019 (UTC)

Let me apologize in advance. I do not know enough of the game to be on anyone's side. But I do not actually see any harm in letting those tips stay. 0123456789 The GreatだいなるNumbersナンバーズ」 06:12, September 23, 2019 (UTC)
It's good to have these "something that might come up when playing draft format with my little brother" because not everyone is aware of every card. Pitifulheartles (talk
I'm all in favour of doing this. In fact if you look at Card Tips:Mystical Space Typhoon I argued in favour of having something on the page rather than nothing. The harm is when said tip is just fundamentally flawed and wrong. Then it's misinformation for anyone that reads it. In the eyes of experienced players looking at it, they laugh and leave the wiki, because they can see we don't know what we're talking about. That's ok but embarrassing. The real bad part is when a new(er) player sees it, thinks it must be good and actually wastes time trying it (or worse, goes on other forums to ask about it and when they tell him it's a bad idea he starts arguing about it because he's seen it on the wiki. Yes, I've actually seen this happen several times). Can you do anything to stop this guy undoing my efforts to give this place some kind of respectability? Not having the Orcust combo mentioned ANYWHERE is bad enough. I need to fix that, because clearly no-one else will.
1. People don't need to be aware of this interaction because it's bad. 2. There are 0 situations where this interaction is good. The only reason it might come up playing draft format with my little brother is we only have 80 (bad) cards between us IRL. And even then it's bad. 3. By putting that on the tips page (or more accurately, reverting my efforts to clean it up), you're telling everyone that this "combo" is good. This is misleading to new players and reflects badly on the Wiki in the eyes of experienced players, see above. And I've noticed that you've "uncleaned" Card Tips:Obelisk the Tormentor with the tagline "This card is good when used properly." Can this guy be blocked from editing on grounds of incompetence? No? Then I'll just link him Dzeef's video, I haven't got time for this ****. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=avgTkzLWQgQ Theotherguytm (talkcontribs) 11:54, September 24, 2019 (UTC)
You say it's bad but you'll probably be the type of person to rage quit when it will actually happens to you. Pitifulheartles (talkcontribs) 11:59, September 24, 2019 (UTC)
Nah, I'll just sit there laughing for 5 minutes because you actually think gaining LP is good enough to make me ragequit, and to your horror you discover MST exists and I've just destroyed your "combo", and then I just OTK you. With ease. You'll probably be the type of person who thinks Pot of Desires is bad because he unironically thinks it's a -9.Theotherguytm (talkcontribs) 12:08, September 24, 2019 (UTC)
If you want to write novels do them on your own talk page. Pretty sure Great doesn't want his talk page filled like this. And I don't run Pot of Desires because I don't want to take the chance of banishing key cards. I'm more of an extravagant person. Pitifulheartles (talkcontribs) 12:12, September 24, 2019 (UTC)
I don't really mind. But if it can be helped, yes please, move it elsewhere. 0123456789 The GreatだいなるNumbersナンバーズ」 13:05, September 24, 2019 (UTC)

Sea Stealth Attack

Please explain how that is a legit tip. All Crystron Tuners require you to use the effect right away if you're going to Synchro Summon and the affected monster MUST be on the field to use the effect as per the card's effect. Thus you can't chain to the effect such that the monster is taken off the field and still get the Synchro Summon. --MasterMarik (talkcontribs) 12:43, September 25, 2019 (UTC)

You activate Crystron Tuner's effect. You chain "Sea Stealth Attack" to it by targeting that monster. Let the chain resolve: YOu banish that Cryston Tuner. Then Crystron Tuner resolves and you Special Summon a monster from GY.
The point is, it's not intended to combo into Synchro Summon. 0123456789 The GreatだいなるNumbersナンバーズ」 12:53, September 25, 2019 (UTC)
Also you can Synchro Summon the monster brought back from the GY with a different monster. This would of course be a plain old Synchro Summon, not be the effect of the Crystron monster. Pitifulheartles (talkcontribs) 12:25, September 26, 2019 (UTC)

Not trying to create calamity, but why didn't you did this for the previous episodes, or at least ep 118? This makes the articles a bit inconsistent. Also, I'd like to point this out, too; the format was there but was removed, and that was a long time ago. Energy X 17:07, September 25, 2019 (UTC)

Pagename

It is more of a placeholder than anything else. Besides, it causes me more pain when I have to copy the lore for OCG Structures pages. Moreover, wouldn't any potential new editors be bit confused by that? Energy X 21:54, October 29, 2019 (UTC)

Fur Hire

While Beat has the general head and ears of a rabbit, albeit on the side of his head rather than top. He also has an abnormally bushy tail, as well as horns. That paired with the heterochromia leans more into some depictions of a chimaera. A monster that has traits of many other creatures, not necessarily having 3 heads. Pitifulheartles (talkcontribs) 12:29, November 5, 2019 (UTC)

I'm not very well-versed in trivia defining. But using "chimera" here does not really suit here: All of them are "either mythological creatures or animals" (Superion, Discord).
That said, I'm going to pass this over onto other related people. 0123456789 The GreatだいなるNumbersナンバーズ 12:41, November 5, 2019 (UTC)
For the sake of simplicity I'll be addressing things in order. :D Some breeds of rabbits, especially lop eared ones, have ears that appear to be growing from the sides, as opposed to from the top of their heads. The large bushy could be a design choice, as rabbits do have bushy, short tails. A similar design can be seen on Carrot from One Piece, but that's just random trivia. The horns, those befuddle me as well, but personally I think it's also a design choice, just like the (to me) feather-like coat it's wearing. Heterochromia is not uncommon among rabbits.
My main issue with Beat being a chimera (for the record, your wiki link pointed to the "chimaera" article, which, while a valid variant of chimera, is about an order of cartilaginous fishes) is that if it's a mythological creature, then it's lacking several of the common characteristics thereof. Mythological chimeras are most commonly depicted as having a lion head, either a tail or an entire lower body of a snake, and a goat head protruding from their backs. Other variants have feathery wings, bat- or dragon-like wings (or a combination of feathery and scaly wings), downwards curved goat horns, and I **think** I remember their hind legs having hooves, as well as a three-headed variant like you're mentioning, with the third head being that of a dragon. In case of Beat, however, we don't see any of these: its head is definitely not that of a lion, the tail being bushy is obviously not a snake, and so on. So the other, modern alternatives to a chimera are either "a single organism composed of cells with distinct genotypes", which would be very hard to depict and is probably not the case, or just a agglomeration of different animal bodyparts, with no mythological or real-life basis. But then not only we should ask what animals is Beat composed of, but also what basis is there for it to be such a creature. Which leads me back to what 0123456789 The Great quoted above, in that all other monsters Fur Hire are either mythological creatures or distinct animals, and only Beat being a semi-random mixture of animals doesn't really make sense in that context. If Beat had a mane or a scaly tail I would have no issue with it being a chimera, but as things stand, it looks more like a rabbit than anything else, even if the rabbit design has some liberal elements involved. But obviously I'm open for alternative explanations. SpecB (talkcontribs) 13:06, November 5, 2019 (UTC)
At least set Helmer to Dagon for now if you at least agree with that. Dagons have legs and a tail. Pitifulheartles (talkcontribs) 02:36, November 13, 2019 (UTC)
According to Wikipedia, they don't have legs, though. [1] SpecB (talkcontribs) 22:44, November 13, 2019 (UTC)
I'm not talking about a deity. Pitifulheartles (talkcontribs) 04:27, November 14, 2019 (UTC)
This Dagon, then? [2] SpecB (talkcontribs) 09:48, November 16, 2019 (UTC)
Something closer to that yes. Dagons have many variations in video games. Unless I'm thinking more along the lines of merfolk, which kinda encompass dagons and mermaids and the like. Pitifulheartles (talkcontribs) 12:46, November 19, 2019 (UTC)
