After loosing count on the number of times that I've been defeated using the deck set-up above, I had to upgrade it in order to FINALLY defeat a "Stardust Dragon" deck. OMG, "Stardust Dragon" is so annoying! Long story short, combined with "Scrap Iron Scarecrow, Starlight Road, Battle Fader, and then "Stardust Dragon" himself; I had to overwhelm my opponent down to the point that they couldn't counter my assault anymore!
The score is as follows thus far against "Synchro" decks...
Wins = 1 (against a "Stardust Dragon" dueling deck)
My thoughts and comments on my upgraded "Vanilla Beatdown" Deck...
I decided to take out "Swords Of Revealing Light" simply because of the fact that a useful as it was in my duels, it would work more effectively in a "Burn Deck", so I decided to side it.
Furthermore, I added "1" card to my main deck(another "Skill Drain") in order to make the field a battle of stats, not effects.
"Raigeki Break" became essential for dealing with certain cards(like "Spirit Reaper") which my opponent's have used to supplement their decks. "Spirit Reaper" is particularly super annoying when you have to deal with "Scrap Iron Scarecrow, Starlight Road, Battle Fader, and then "Stardust Dragon" to begin with.
"Scapegoat" is a life saver because it allowed me to save my traps for a round or two(depending on what my opponent does). They actually stayed on the field for "3" turns a couple of times because my opponent didn't have enough monsters to wipe them out immediately.
