Upper Deck Day was an organized event promoted by Upper Deck that took place at locations throughout North America on February 7 – 8, 2009,[1] instead of the delayed Crimson Crisis Sneak Preview event originally scheduled to be held the same days.[2]
The event featured the Duelist Challenge, which involved a giveaway of various of prizes for the first time ever offered at a Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game event.

The top three finishers at each location received a highly valuable prize card, and the winner took home a "Gold Sarcophagus". All top finishers received an entire box of cards. Additional prizes included rare Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game play mats, t-shirts and other promos. Players also had a chance to receive promotional cards and other great prizes throughout the weekend.

Also released were Hobby League Promotional Cards, Tournament Packs, SJC-EN001 Cyber-Stein, playmats and various other random prizes.
