Unaffected known as Non-Receiving in the OCG (Japanese: 受けない。 ukenai) is the term used in certain cards that are immune to the effects described in its effect description.
A well known example of a card that is unaffected by Trap Cards is "Elemental Hero Wildheart", examples of cards that are unaffected by Spell Cards include "Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV6" and "Silent Magician LV8". Cards such as "Odin, Father of the Aesir" are unaffected by the effects of both Spell Cards and Trap Cards. Other notable examples include "Vennominaga the Deity of Poisonous Snakes", which is unaffected by any other card effects, and "Number 81: Superdreadnought Rail Cannon Superior Dora", which can make a target face-up monster become unaffected by all other card effects except its own.
