Should we have a list of all the teams revealed so far? Unicorn, Yusei/Jack/Crow's Team, probably Dark Glass and Sherry too,, and Placido/Jose/someone that's not Luciano are the only ones that I'm aware of so far, correct me if I'm wrong --Blackstone Dresden 21:39, September 30, 2009 (UTC)
Ultimately they need to be listed as they are participants to this Grand Prix.DracoX 03:32, October 1, 2009 (UTC)
I suggest that we do this when we actually get around to the Grand Prix, because anything before that is speculation. Envoy of the Philippine Hopeless Dragon Deck 03:43, October 1, 2009 (UTC)
Not quite because Yusei's team is one, Sherry is entering the Prix and only rets to know who are the other 2 individuals with her. And team unicorn too as they have been competing as a team on other tournaments. DracoX 04:08, October 1, 2009 (UTC)
- Don't forget Dark Glass, he was at the opening ceremonies or whatever they're called so it's logical that he's participating too--Blackstone Dresden 22:09, October 3, 2009 (UTC)
Isn't it reasonable to think Yusei, Jack, and Crow will go by "Team Satisfaction"? Rose Duelist 17:12, October 13, 2009 (UTC)
- It's possible but nothing's been confirmed as of yet so don't add that back to the article. It would be like saying Aki is going to enter, she probably will, but no one's confirmed anything yet. --Blackstone Dresden 22:59, October 15, 2009 (UTC)
Shouldn't we add Mizoguchi to Sherry's team? He is her guardian after all and he helped her at the security building. Also shouldn't we have the Infinity Trio as a team, they will be there. --Azure Knight-Zeo 19:02, February 3, 2010 (UTC)
I vote we have another episode section detailing the Crash Town arc, as it is been ongoing from episode 87. If you have any opinions then please respond. superlogan7437 19:14, December 23, 2009 (UTC)
Should we have a Tournament Bracket set up, since supposedly in 98 [i'm presuming is when the Grand Prix will begin] it will be 5D's (Yusei/Crow/Jack) versus the Unicorn team, so should we possibly have a Tournament Bracket set up to signify which team faces which team or should we wait until we are closer to at least Episode 96?Altyrell 00:53, January 24, 2010 (UTC)
- I mean, that is if it is possibleAltyrell 03:47, January 26, 2010 (UTC)
- I thought Yusei and Andre just dueled because of a dissagreement. --Azure Knight-Zeo 19:02, February 3, 2010 (UTC)
Is it too much speculation to assume that Mizoguchi is going to be on Sherry's team for the tournament? He's already confirmed as having a Duel Runner and a Deck, and since Sherry's only been seen scouting Yusei, it could mean that she already has a 2nd Duelist on her team, most likely candidate being Mizoguchi.
Same thing for Kazama and Trudge, if we assume that, based on Trudge's comments in the most recent episode, he's competing to Duel Yusei again, then Kazama's probably on his team to get his long awaited Duel against Jack. Pity that no Security officer has a grudge against Crow, or we could add him to the bracket. --Blackstone Dresden 19:07, February 15, 2010 (UTC)
Who or what is Team Mantis? Mr.?? 13:45, February 28, 2010 (UTC)
In episode 104, that announcer said that the preliminaries are over, and in 105 he said that Team 5D's goes to the finals. But each block has 4 teams. Block A has 5D's, Unicorn, and Catastrophe. The last team, however, was not brought up.
Does anyone strike it as odd that Yusei's team passed the preliminaries without facing off against the 4th and final team??
It's not odd. Just like the preliminaries round of football. With the 2 teams will pass the preliminaries, 2 win is enough to secure a slot to the final. --Blackwings0605 02:26, April 15, 2010 (UTC)
With half of the city wrecked from Yusei's duel, it is likely that the WRGP will be postponed due to repairs. That sounds about right. --User:VolticWind 4:03, May 13, 2010 (UTC)
Well, in Team Unicorn's case, flashbacks about their past include signs and billboards that are written in Spanish, proving that they are from Spain. Other minor teams just probably look as though they are from a country, judged by their clothing and appearance.----Saiou (talk) 14:34, November 6, 2010 (UTC)
so in the duel if someones speed counters become 0 they lose
Has it been shown, that if a duelist is defeated, does the extra damage (what would make a Duelist's Life Points negative) go to that team's next duelist?--188.8.131.52 (talk) 01:22, November 3, 2010 (UTC)
No, in fact in Episode 132, Jack Atlas inflicted more than 5000 damage with one attack, but only the last 500 LP were deducted and the next duelist started with full LP.----Saiou (talk) 14:29, November 6, 2010 (UTC)
This article is a bit weird to read. It mentions both the WRGP-arc and the tournament. Maybe it's bit better if we make a page for the arc, so we can use this one for the tourney itself? Arcs like Dark Signers arc and Ark Cradle arc do have 2 pages. 1 for the arc and 1 for the thing in question (in this case the WRGP). HellKaiserN (talk • contribs) 13:29, March 23, 2011 (UTC)
- I'm in favour of having two articles. Story arcs are articles about a group of episodes. Tournaments like Duelist Kingdom, Battle City, Fortune Cup and the WRGP are events that happen in the episodes. I think the arc articles should be written from a real world perspective and the tournament articles be written as if the tournament was a real event (except for the first line/paragraph). -- Deltaneos (talk) 14:11, March 23, 2011 (UTC)
Sources for countries
Are there any? We do know Sherry is from France and 5D's is from Japan. Are there sources for ANY of the other teams? If not, we should really remove them. Cheesedude (talk • contribs) 16:49, June 10, 2011 (UTC)
