Why does this page exist? (Merge or no merge)[]

In other words, why isn't this page just a part of the original page on Tuner Monsters? Did it really need its own page for something that really is just part of Tuners themselves? Barely even a sub-section of them. They aren't special, and all it is is the first time the Type was printed on the cards themselves rather than simply people MAKING Tuners out of Synchro monsters (which has been possible for a very long time now). Except for the condition of "Accel Synchro" which only on the real cards has been placed on them, they are just Synchros that are also Tuners and all the same things apply like normal. The new effect could have just been explained in a section on the Tuners page along with them and in the anime, they're nothing special at all (no special effects) with the special effect being on the Accel along with the restriction.

Why isn't this page just merged with the ACTUAL Tuner page since there's nothing really special about them that needs a whole separate page? ShinobiPhoenix 18:18, May 20, 2010 (UTC)

In other words the fact that a Tuner monster can be Synchro Monster isn't much different than the fact that a Tuner can be a Normal Monster, Effect Monster or even a "Reptilianne", "Synchron" etc. -- Deltaneos (talk) 19:08, May 20, 2010 (UTC)
But that's not at all the same thing. There's a page for Normal, there's a page for Effect, there's a page for all those other things because they are actually different, but with Synchro Tuners, there's a page for Synchros and a page for Tuners, they are already covered. There's no page for JUST Normal Monsters that are Tuners ON TOP of the page for Normal Monsters, there's no page for Reptilians that are JUST Tuners on top of the page just for the others. There's not a page for the Fusions that use Synchros for materials. If they make Fusions/Ritual/Synchros that are also Toons or Unions or Dual, would there need to be a page JUST for them separate from the other pages already about them? I was supporting what you said, not trying to argue against it, if that's what you thought. -- Deltaneos (talk) 00:31, June 8, 2010 (UTC)

The special part about synchro tuners are that they can be used to synchro summon on ur opponents turn unlike usual tuners —This unsigned comment was made by 209.33.34.176 (talkcontribs) 03:14, 24 May 2010 (UTC)

That's part of the individual cards' effects. It's not an actual gameplay ruling. -- Deltaneos (talk) 00:31, June 8, 2010 (UTC)

Well, in my opinion it's different from normal tuner monsters, since a tuner is needed for they summon, this makes them double as Tuner than any other Tuner, but this is just my opinion. In fact, you guys are right: if a Synchro Tuner is not a separate type, but instead a monster like Machine/Synchro/Tuner, than it should be merged with the Tuner page. Also, I noted this article name change: shoudn't it be called Synchro Tuners instead of Tuner Synchro. I like better Synchro Tuner. By Snetonobre (talkcontribs) 00:50, October 10, 2010 (UTC)

woawoawoa what? i'm sorry but how can life stream dragon be a synchro and a tuner? with that what could be summoned? and really? power tool dragon? i thought it was supposed to be a counter part of power tool so it should use a none tuner not power tool.

Now after watching episode 150, we know LSD is used as a Tuner Synchro for SQD Hyoroemon (talkcontribs) 04:59, March 22, 2011 (UTC)
