Image?

Is there a Konami-official source for this image? It doesn't seem right to me, the font for the lowercase letters in "Warrior/Xyz/Effect" is slightly larger than usual. It's also a little weird that the announcement for the as-far-as-we-know-TCG-Exclusive deck to be on a non-English website. AEtherchild (Talk|Contribs) 09:05, May 25, 2012 (UTC)

The Capital letters maybe shrink a little bit (thinner, not smaller) in order to get all words fitting in. --iFredCat 10:13, May 25, 2012 (UTC)

The larger size may be caused by the recent card format change. —This unsigned comment was made by 110.138.89.230 (talkcontribs) 11:45, May 25, 2012

As of the Starter Deck 2012, card arrangement has changed slightly, making the artwork slightly larger, and the font for effects and flavour texts slightly bigger. If you compare Tour Guide from Battle Pack to Tour Guide from EXVC you'll see the differences. Shamus (talkcontribs) 05:45, May 26, 2012 (UTC)

The image currently on this Wikia seems to be the only 'official' one at the moment. I certainly can't find a better image anywhere. I would look out for fake/counterfeit images however as I did see a few of those on my exploits. --Spongebob456 (talkcontribs) 10:29, June 7, 2012 (UTC)

Shien?

Doesn't anyone find it odd this card is called Shien. As far as I know Shien has black hair, not red. The only "six samurai monsters" to have red hair seem to be Kagemusha & Shinai (although I doubt it's Shinai). Is it not more likely this card would be Kagemusha disguised as Shien (since he is a body double for Shien). —This unsigned comment was made by 80.112.206.210 (talkcontribs) 12:21, May 25, 2012

Both Shien don't showed to have hair outside their helm.
Also, both of you! SIGN YOUR EDITS WITH FOUR TILDES AT END OF THE COMMENTS IN FORUM OR DISCUSSION! --iFredCat 13:10, May 25, 2012 (UTC)
This card is an older version of Shien's Body Double isn't it? So "Shien" is correct.

Rampant effect editing's getting ridiculous.

Until we get a clear image of the card and confirmation of its effect, the ATK amounts listed in the effect ought to be left as undetermined rather than going back and forth between 2000, 3000, and ?000 so much. The super-blurred image just isn't enough to work with.

Also, locking the article to keep that from continuing might not be a bad idea either. Wilren (talkcontribs) 19:51, May 25, 2012 (UTC)

I like the idea of having this page locked till there is a clearer card texts that shows the exact value of ATK gain. Also, can we please also leave the value as "?000" till then? "X000" is actually used to represent something else.  HHTurtle Talk   07:25, May 26, 2012 (UTC)

The page is locked to level "autoconfirmed". That means you can edit it. New accounts and anons cannot. -Falzar FZ- (talk page|useful stuff) 08:11, May 26, 2012 (UTC)

Please post actual evidence for the TCG card text

There has been a lot of editing back and forth for the card text. Let us be clear on this: a blog, forum posts or blurry image is not satisfactory evidence for the real card text.

Once Konami truly releases the card image for all to see, I suggest the user to post the evidence here in the Talk Page before editng the article.  HHT   - (Talk to the Turtle) 10:34, June 8, 2012 (UTC)

That is true, but be sure to read the summary as you read the history - link does show the proof. If you still disagreed, go ahead and undoing it. It's not hard part. --iFredCat 10:41, June 8, 2012 (UTC)
To avoid conflict, it may be best to wait for an official Konami announcement or something like that. Even though 2000 ATK does sound correct and it is clearly written on the Spanish card, I'm not an expert, but are Spanish cards a proper translation of the English cards? Perhaps more solid evidence is needed. --Spongebob456 (talkcontribs) 11:34, June 8, 2012 (UTC)
Of course spanish cards are a proper translation, do you think we play a different game or what? But I don't trust the spanish pic either, first off it's not a scan, it looks more like a proxy, and since konami hasn't released any of their proxies in such resolution, I'd say it's faked. Also, I'm usually the first person to get spanish cards and update wikia >.< Menschy (talkcontribs) 11:36, June 8, 2012 (UTC)

So...

Are the values finally confirmed? Because yesterday they were 2000 and 2000, and now they're 2000 and 3000 respectively. --Brunjox (talkcontribs) 22:01, June 12, 2012 (UTC)

read this again the effect hasnt not been confirmed yet

http://www.yugioh-card.com/en/products/sd-sdwa.html this is the official samurai warlords site of yugioh card... anyone who changes the value without actual concrete Konami/Yugioh-card.com proof has seen a fake effect. ZmanstardustZS. Talk Z.S. Blog 18:11, June 13, 2012 (UTC)

The knowledge of number was taken from Spain/Mexico version of card. You can go ahead and revert it back to non-amount version, if you want. --iFredCat 18:34, June 13, 2012 (UTC)
Here is a link http://a5.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-prn1/537488_4071892165132_1611683711_n.jpg If it is fake then someone spent alot of time making a fake HQ version --Sumadin (talkcontribs) 18:49, June 13, 2012 (UTC)
So what? You have a prove and you can revert the edit back to x000 ATK (Amount unconfirmed) so stop whine about this. --iFredCat 18:50, June 13, 2012 (UTC)

Spanish Image

  • Does anyone have any ACTUAL PROOF that the Spanish image on the main card page is Photoshopped? It's 13 days until the launch of the Structure Deck, and the proxy image could have easily been printed in a Spanish magazine, similar to how Tardy Orc was. If anyone can 100% confirm that this image is a fake, then post it here. Otherwise, stop reverting and stop whining.--YamiWheeler (talkcontribs) 21:39, June 13, 2012 (UTC)
We need a full size magazine image - similar to the situation of "Number 9: Canopy Star - Dyson Sphere" before it was releasing. The image you put in there is more of close version, cut out anything but the card that could making it look like shop. --iFredCat 22:00, June 13, 2012 (UTC)
  • You're still speculating. If the majority of people want this gone, then we can get rid of it.--YamiWheeler (talkcontribs) 22:02, June 13, 2012 (UTC)
Of course not. Chopping image don't help unless they are official printed version (or showed in the anime/manga). If they are not printed, then it is ignored. Proxy is also excluded this, but not counted Magazine unless it is showing a full page. --iFredCat 22:04, June 13, 2012 (UTC)

So no one noticed that the first printing of this, regardless of country, should always be 1st edition. Also note that there is no identification number in the lower left hand corner. I would say that that is proof enough. Sorry if this isn't typed properly. My first edit.--—This unsigned comment was made by Maineduelist5 (talkcontribs)

  • Sigh... It is an Official Proxy. This has been stated numerous times. Also, sign your posts, it's stated at the top of any Talk or Forum page you edit.--YamiWheeler (talkcontribs) 23:53, June 13, 2012 (UTC)
I don't see the golden/silver square at the corner in this image - take it out! --iFredCat 23:54, June 13, 2012 (UTC)
  • Just wanted to say that, we now have a clear image of the actual card and the numbers are exactly the same as the card you claimed to be Photoshopped. Next time you overreact and behave like a fool, please remember that legit images do exist that don't necessarily follow the conventions that you attribute to a real card.--YamiWheeler (talkcontribs) 15:56, June 15, 2012 (UTC)
Are you sure the current image is an OP and not a GC? -Falzar FZ- (talk page|useful stuff) 01:02, June 14, 2012 (UTC)
I would say the image we have now is proof enough. ----SuperSponge!!(Talk)(About me) 15:54, June 15, 2012 (UTC)
