Name[]

For 'syllable' cards like these, shouldn't we not translate the name and keep the original name; like how there was that mistake with Kagetokage? -Falzar FZ- (talk page|useful stuff) 23:09, October 30, 2011 (UTC)

I agree; "String Fiend Itchy Rythm" makes exactly no sense whatsoever (even for the name of a YGO card). ディノ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 23:42, October 30, 2011 (UTC)
Didn't even notice the syllable name. Yeah, we should probably move it, though retain the current use of the trans parameter (based on the fact that we do at "Kagetokage"). Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 00:51, October 31, 2011 (UTC)
Related: In today's episode, Yuma uses another card similiar to this, which is being called "Drumming Fiend/Majin Tententenpo" by translators so far. I intend to create the article for it under the name "Taikomajin Tententenpo", per this conversation. When I have more info on it, that is. Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 14:40, October 31, 2011 (UTC)
Either keep the original, or "String Fiend Muzumuzu Rizumu" and "Drum Fiend Tententenpo" should be used is what it was about. -Falzar FZ- (talk page|useful stuff) 06:00, November 1, 2011 (UTC)

I don't think that that's going to be a constant way of naming them. And it's fine as long as "Tentenpo" is in its phonetic form. As for Itchy Rhythm... They usually go without the silent syllables, like in Karakuri. So it's going to be something similar to String Devil Muzmuz Rhythm, but that doesn't make any sense and sounds terrible. I think it'll be better if we leave them as the translated versions. Anyway, it isn't Fiend in any case. It's Devil or Demon, but Demon is more commonly used for Archfiends. How the hack did you get "Muzumuzu"???—This unsigned comment was made by 93.87.193.79 (talkcontribs) 12:22, 2011 November 8

Family[]

We had another one "かんまじんメロメロメロディ" ("Brass Devil Mellowmellow Melody"). Both of them used a musical instrument, Rank 3 Xyz Monster, had syllable name and played by Yuma. Should we make a family page for them like Warriors? Blackwings0605 (talk) 11:45, November 9, 2011 (UTC)
The preferred term is series; the problem is that "Syllable" cards is an unofficial term... -Falzar FZ- (talk page|useful stuff) 12:37, November 9, 2011 (UTC)
Couldn't we make a Musician Devil Page? All three fit that category. 146.115.146.222 (talk) 23:52, November 21, 2011 (UTC)
