With the coming of Raging Battle is expected to increase Blackwings to "meta" standard
(--Guilsperm 21:27, 14 July 2009 (UTC)) Yeah definately BlackWings, Lightsworns, and Gladiator Beasts are the top three meda decks. I want a Lightswn deck but it looks to be expensive to build. But if i can build it i will have all three!
shouldn't dark deck also be in the meta with cards like dark armed dragon and dark creator same with hopeless dragons and magical explosion FTK 174.6.37.88
I just have one question...What happened to the origionality of yugioh? It seems like everyone just wants the "best" type of deck. What happened to the fun? What happened to using a deck that actually required skill and not just money to get the cards? Think outside of the box.

I just keep looking for a deck that I can beat my friend with, and I was starting to think yu-gi-oh would never be fun again.

Serious as a heart attack. In short, there are Decks "that don't belong" and Decks that are "missing" and we don't have pages for some of them. This is neither nice for the new nor satisfactory for the seasoned. Why is there even a list?

During the regionals in AZ not too long ago, I noticed a very large portion of the players using some kind of Dragon Ruler build, so would this not be considered as part of the meta listing right now?

Current Metagame Summary[]
I think this page needs to give a summary of current meta decks like it used to do before. somewhat like this:- The current meta decks are: Kozmo, Majespecter, Performage, Infernoids, PSY-Frame, Nekroz, Mask Change Heroes etc.
Other notable decks include-Burning abyss, Shaddols, Quilfort, Blackwings, Fire kings,Superheavy Samurais,etc.Transcendon (talk • contribs) 07:46, November 25, 2015 (UTC)
I think we should steer clear of using relative time references like "current", "recent", "upcoming", "next year" and "soon" in articles. They all become incorrect after a certain amount of time, unless the sentences using them are constantly updated. I think 'Meta Decks from the November 2015 format include "Kozmo", "Majespecter", etc.' is more appropriate.
We'd also need some source to prove that they are indeed meta, such as Deck distribution stats from YCS top cuts. Stuff like this has been removed in the past for being unsourced and too subjective; Forum:Why we've removed the Tier Lists. The 'other notable Decks' portion would be even more subjective and harder to source, so we'd probably have to leave that out.
