So i attack, opponent activates magic cylinder, i activate malfunction, so magic cylinder gets face down and the attack continues? can my opponent activate it again for that attack? or it cant be activated in that turned because i got set again?

So i attack, opponent activates magic cylinder, i activate malfunction, so magic cylinder gets face down and the attack continues? can my opponent activate it again for that attack? or it cant be activated in that turned because i got set again?
