can u use Flute of Summoning Dragon with him since he is a product of Lord of D?

no you can not, since his name is not Lord of D. but you should not consider that much of an issue as King Dragun effectively has the flute built into its effect. 13:41, March 9, 2010 (UTC)

The extent of his effect

do cards like sakuretsu armor or lightning vortex affect him? What does his effect protect him against? What type of card effects?

The effect of Sakuretsu Armor targets so it will negated when used against a Dragon-Type monster while King Dragun is face-up on the field. Lightning Vortex does not target, all face-up monsters that your opponent controls will be destroyed. King Dragun only protects Dragon-Type monsters from effects that target. See Target.-- HHTurtle  (Talk) 05:13, June 10, 2010 (UTC)

If i use call of the haunted or premature burial on King Dragun would he die when the magic or trap card is removed from the field. Similar to elemental hero wildheart when he is brought back with call of the haunted..

King Dragun cannot be targeted by your opponent's effects so it will be destroyed if Call of the Haunted is removed from the field. Elemental Hero Wildheart is unaffected by Trap Cards so it will not be destroyed when Call of the Haunted is removed from the field.-- HHTurtle  (Talk) 12:49, June 11, 2010 (UTC)

There are cards that do that.
However, it is pointless. Since the fusion monster was not Successfully Fusion Summoned, it cannot be revived by anything. : See Card Rulings:Gale Dogra. Falzar FZ 06:11, June 21, 2010 (UTC)
