but he could have also played forbidden chalice or any other effect negating card and soul rope cause it doesn't go boom till the end phase if pandemonium isnt on the field
English dub[]
I keep wondering to myself: what are they going to do in regards to Kiryu's crime and subsequent death? It's going to be difficult to find something to replace that with, that is, if they don't go with the usual excuse for a death in the English version:
"He just disappeared . . ."

Actually the whole Bommer thing can just be the trapdoor opens, he falls, the underworld "shadow realm" shoots up, end of scene nothing about the spider web hanging him involved

Is really true that Yusei and Jack will fight in this kind of duel against Kiryu and another of the Dark Signer?? Because even if it does happen doubt very much that either Demak or Rudger would fight like this, as Kiryu is the ones that hates Yusei and for Jack wouldt'n have to be then Carly?? Dark Signer Profle Pics?[]
OK, heres an idea, since some of the Dark Signers were already Dark Signers before being introduced in the anime, shouldn't we keep that as their main pics? (i mean Kiryu and Rudger) and put the team satisfaction in the article? or at least until Kiryu shows up again during season 3, and as for Rudger, except for his brief death scene, he has been a dark signer for all of season 2 and im sure thats his most used for, i understand that carly, bommer and rex godwin didn't become dark signers till later on (and misty was hiding as a regular human), but these two were DS for a while.--RexGodwin 19:20, October 14, 2009 (UTC)

He hasn't yet, and though it is probable, it may not necessarily end that way (for instance they may wind up tag dueling or something). Could everyone please stop reverting? Leo had the trap Dark Matter in his hand in the 4kids dub of his duel with Devack, and it was left in his list of traps for his Season 1 Deck.
Kalin had Challhua in his hand in the 4kids dub as well, in his second duel against Yusei in Episode 54. Right after knocking Yusei into the flames. 4Kids Dub References?[]
At least you guys allow Anonoymous editing, kudos to that. But I'm noticing an inspirational trend for some names in the 4Kids dub. "Kessler" for example, sounds similar to "Cussler", or Clive Cussler, a famous American pulp author. Cussler's novels usually focus around a character named "Dirk Pitt", and there's a "Dick Pitt" in the original Japanese for a random duelist in 5D's. Is Kiryu is surname? And Kyosuke his first name?? It's really bothering me, because I really never knew but read somewhere that his first name is Kyosuke and his last name (surname) is Kiryu. - His Japanese name is 鬼柳京介 (Kiryū Kyōsuke). Japanese names or at least kanji ones are ordered surname then given name. So his surname is "Kiryu" and his given name is "Kyosuke". When speaking Japanese you'd say his surname first. When speaking English, it's more common to put the given name first.
