Jim used Sakuretsu Armor in episode 139. For proof go here: http://www.dailymotion.com/shriek/video/x27096_gx-139-part-2 —This unsigned comment was made by Dreamcoat (talkcontribs) 17:11, June 7, 2007

Is Jim from South America because if Jesse is from Europe and Axel is from Africa that means that Adrian can be from U.S.A. and Jim from somewhere of South America.

Dub voice actor.

Typical research mentions that Tom Wayland voices him, yet this tweet https://twitter.com/emilycarmichael/status/1153025270149988353 and this page https://www.imdb.com/name/nm1621794/ marks Erik Singer as his actor. Which is it?! --Dark Yugi (talkcontribs) 05:38, May 3, 2020 (UTC)

It is Erik Singer. As mentioned in your editing history, Erik Singer is listed in the cast credits for Season 3. Tom Wayland is not, and Jim, Jesse, Axel and Adrian all show up and speak early enough to warrant a credit. Wayland had been saddled with the role due to lack of familiarity of newer people such as Singer and was, in my opinion, merely assumed to be the closest sound-alike, though Wayland himself never claimed the role for his own. At any rate, a combined lack of solid confirmation, conflicting reports to flag potential sources of error, and interest in the topic for more in-depth research meant the Wayland association stuck. It's just word of mouth - a false truth, and that tweet from Emily Carmichael (his girlfriend) was our light in the darkness.
Unfortunately, the Wayland association carried into places like Behind the Voice Actors, which did not do their own research for the show when first added. Case in point, they still believe Marc Thompson voiced Axel Brodie, not Duane Cooper. Not for lack of trying (many efforts to correct misinformation for many characters have been made, including Jim), but there's just a lack of interest in the property to make it a priority (sad, I know). Ah how interesting. Does Wayland have any legitimate roles in the Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise? --Dark Yugi (talkcontribs) 16:27, May 3, 2020 (UTC)

Just a heads up. The source you cited (BTVA) has since processed the change to Singer, thus the page you cited is now inadequate. To that end I will restore my original source cited for Singer along with his name in the article. HubStyle (talkcontribs) 22:44, May 5, 2020 (UTC)
