TCG Name may be Noble Knights[]

Due to the fact that the TCG Galactic Overlord Sneak Peak card is Noble Knight Artorigus, I think it's highly likely that the Heroic archetype will become the Noble Knights, due to Artorigus being clearly based on King Arthur and the XYZ card of the Heroic Archetype being Excalibur. I find it highly unlikely that they would put them in different archetypes, plus the new name would avoid confusion between the other HERO archetype and this one.--The FireFALL (talkcontribs) 20:25, March 29, 2012 (UTC)

The "HERO" Archetype has been edited to contain "HERO" in all capital letters. If Heroic's keep their original name then it will remain "Heroic". For it to be related to the "HERO" Archetype they will need to change it to "HEROic" which is very very unlikely.--Eminent Hero 01:04, March 30, 2012 (UTC)

Unfortunately though, some players aren't that bright therefore may thing that 'HERO' cards support 'Heroic' because it has 'Hero' in its name, just not in capitals. TheScarecrow14 (talkcontribs) 15:04, April 14, 2012 (UTC)
Your right about that lmao.--Eminent Hero 03:24, April 21, 2012 (UTC)
Capitals doesn't matter. (Konami stuffed up) "Gusto" support can work on "Daigusto" monsters.
But "Noble Knights" would clash with the "Knight" archetype. -Falzar FZ- (talk page|useful stuff) 03:42, April 21, 2012 (UTC)
For HEROs, the caps do matter. That's why the changed them, isn't it? Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 03:55, April 21, 2012 (UTC)
Wasn't there a forum on this same idea? 24.83.215.20 (talk) 04:23, April 21, 2012 (UTC)
It was because of "Hero Kid" and the new errata for "Elemental HERO Stratos".
There's also "Gishki" support which work on "Evigishki" monsters... if capitals do matter, then Konami stuffed up again. -Falzar FZ- (talk page|useful stuff) 04:32, April 21, 2012 (UTC)
Which to me is another way of saying "yes". "Hero Kid" is not a "HERO". Ergo, capitalization does matter. Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 04:41, April 21, 2012 (UTC)
= Konami stuffed up again. -Falzar FZ- (talk page|useful stuff) 04:45, April 21, 2012 (UTC)

Well, it has more to do with how they are named in the OCG. Hero Kid's Japanese name is [ヒーロー] while the HERO archetype have their names spelled in English and in all caps. That is why Hero Kid is unrelated to the archetype.

As for the TCG, while capital letters usually don't affect archetype support, like for Dark Jeroid and the Roid archetype. The HERO archetype should not include monsters with the name "Hero" in them (There was an article from Konami detailing this). Think of it as a BKSS (Because Kevin Tewart Said So) ruling in the TCG that makes complete sense in the OCG but is nonsense in the TCG.  HHT   - (Talk to the Turtle) 07:14, June 12, 2012 (UTC)

Name change[]

well, after seeing Heroic Champion Excalibur in 2012 Collectors Tins, its name now has a dash between HC and Excalibur. should we do that to all heroic monsters? or just leave it only to Heroic Champions? 24.83.215.20 (talk) 19:04, May 5, 2012 (UTC)

Additions:

Mostly just to help with adding to the playing style of the deck since I feel as if the deck is powerful and numerous enough to be a legit deck, unlike decks like butterspy, I think that with the playing style should mostly touch basis on the fact that they usually dominate the field in the ability of battle, since most of them don't have a lot of other effects besides dominating battle. Besides powering up their attack points, what also should be noted is that when they are not powering up their attacks, they powerup their ability to battle other monsters, like Night Watchman destroying defense, Sword Shield protecting others, Retribution sword protecting your monsters as well. Mostly just posting this to get the actual article going since I'm not familiar with doing stuff on the actual page. 24.125.167.30 (talk) 21:28, January 1, 2013 (UTC)
