Second Chimeratech OTK

It wouldn't work, because Cyber Kirin's effect only works for your turn. You would kill yourself along with your opponent. If "Trap Booster" ever does comes out, then this would work. But it hasn't, so it can't. SpaceGhidorah 23:56, February 23, 2010 (UTC)

There is a way to pull this off that way, but you'd have to keep "Ring of Destruction" face-down during your opponent's turn, THEN summoning " Kirin", using his effect, THEN summoning " Fortress", and activating "Ring of Destruction". But this is also a hard to pull off strategy, but, it is pretty much the only way to do it with the stated cards. --~King Atemu 00:01, February 24, 2010 (UTC)

Remove Staples

Some cards are used in nearly all decks such as swords of reveling light but they dont require mention on this page we should point out cards that help a cyber deck strategy as a whole the staples should remain where they belong on the Staple page

I second that Notion. Someone please take those off (I wont because whenever I have anything to contribute it seems someone is always there to immediately remove it for the most obscure reasons) Sabeta Sama 20:35, March 9, 2010 (UTC)

An idea.

Should we mention how this decks power has now been boosted thanks to the recent ban lis's choice of semi limiting Cyber Dragon?--NejiHyugaRocks 22:00, May 7, 2010 (UTC)

  • Unless there's a comment about how the old banlist hindered the archetype, I don't see why you would.--YamiWheeler 21:57, May 7, 2010 (UTC)

A slight change in plan.

I think it should be noted (and I have seen this mistake everywhere), but you cannot used "The Light Hex-Sealed Fusion" to bring out a Cyber End Dragon. Th Cyber End and Cyber Twin Dragon both state "A Fusion Summon of this card can only be conducted with the above Fusion Material Monsters". It is misleading to have this information up, and with Proto-Cyber and Dragon Zwei, there is no good reason to have hex-sealed in the deck even if you could. I stick with Shining Angel for it's searching ability and the multiple string defense it can pull off with the ability. --76.188.4.215 08:59, June 12, 2010 (UTC)Gin Clow

You are slightly mistaken as well.

  • I just noted this when staring at the cards in my deck for a moment while dueling. Yes I was assuming the Hex-Sealed was making a fusion summon, but didn't think about it's wording. Problem solved. Now to add them to my deck. --76.188.4.215 18:07, June 12, 2010 (UTC)Gin Clow

Solomon's Lawbook

I'm assuming this is for cybernetic zone but isn't rollout and any of the prevent destruction monsters better like Heavy mech support platform or Metallizing Parasite - Lunatite These seem much more useful as activating rollout can Stop you from being destroyed by limiter removal stop future fusion destroying chimeratech and it can save you from being destroyed with Cybernetic zone and you can use these cards in more situations then just the lawbook

Image?

This New Image Format Better Than Than The Old One? It Looks Alright For Some Archetypes, but not for this one. Should We Revert It Back To The Old Archetype?K.O.L.O (talkcontribs) 05:58, August 28, 2011 (UTC)

I asked him to make a forum thread on which is better; but he seems to have ignored it.
Reverting it may get his attention... hopefully... -Falzar FZ- (talk page|useful stuff) 06:01, August 28, 2011 (UTC)

Change series to sub-archetype?

Since the Cyber Dragons series have at least one support card, Evolution Burst, shouldn't it be considered a sub-archetype of the Cyber archetype?

I'm asking the same thing for Blue-Eyes, Gaia Knight and Dark Magician. If not, then shouldn't Red-Eyes and VWXYZ stop being considered archetypes?

I can do all the changes myself, only if an Admin gives the OK, first. Kentaru Z (talkcontribs) 06:13, May 5, 2012 (UTC)

No, because "Evolution Burst" only supports monsters whose names are exactly "Cyber Dragon", as opposed to any monster with "Cyber Dragon" in its name; see my more detailed response at Talk:Dark Magician (series)#Change series to type?. ディノ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 07:46, May 5, 2012 (UTC)
I totally understand the reasons why "Blue-Eyes", "Dark Magician" and "Gaia Knight" are not an archetype yet, however, since two other members of the "Cyber Dragon" series can change their name to "Cyber Dragon" (Proto-Cyber Dragon and Cyber Dragon Zwei), then "Evolution Burst" can be used with other cards of the series.
Well, even if "Evolution Burst" still doesn't count, I think that we all are forgetting a card that, from my point of view, does give support to the series, but for some reason, it seems to be forgotten, Armored Cybern. I recently noticed that card is not labeled as neither related nor support to the Cyber Dragon series, which I think must be changed.
Now to explain the reason I think the card is not only related but also gives support: The card text says "... you can equip this card to a "Cyber Dragon" you control, or to a Fusion Monster you control that lists "Cyber Dragon" as a Fusion Material Monster, OR...", with that text the card already can make an union with Cyber Dragon (that would also include, Proto-Cyber Dragon, and even Cyber Dragon Zwei to some extend) and all the fusions, Cyber End Dragon, Cyber Twin Dragon, Chimeratech Overdragon and Chimeratech Fortress Dragon.
Of course I could be wrong, but "Armored Cybern" does give support to most of the members of the series.Kentaru Z (talkcontribs) 15:23, May 5, 2012 (UTC)
