Simochi?

Playful way of pronouncing "smoochy", I had assumed. (Smooch meaning kiss, if anyone didn't know) -- Deltaneos 16:42, 17 December 2007 (UTC)

Yeah? I'd always thought it was some kind of spicy food or something. ^_^ I asked 'cause searching JDIC didn't come up with anything for シモッチ (and I really was curious). Danny Lilithborne 00:25, 18 December 2007 (UTC)

The katakana are used to write foreign words so that Japanese people can read them without having to know romanizations and pronunciations. シモッチ it's not that it's a playful way of saying smoochy, it is just the closest way the Japanese language will allow it to be said :P
