Rename to "Ancient Gear Golem - Mechanized Melee"[]

Even though Mechanized Melee is its attack name in the dub, it seems some cards were released in the TCG with the Japanese name for the attack, like "Burst Stream of Destruction". However, the majority seem to use the dub name, yes. Any other input? Becasita Pendulum (talkcontribs) 14:28, December 14, 2016 (UTC)

I'd like to throw out there that neither "Ultimate Pound" nor "Mechanized Melee" sound good as a Monster Card name in this situation. So, I suggest letting the official translators work it out and waiting until the card is released in English.
Also, "Burst Stream of Destruction", "Wrath of Neos", and "Evolution Burst" were some of the earliest released cards of the "Signature move" series, before it was recognized as a series of cards, and the cards of that series released after them have used their dub name. Like TheycallmeBrick said neither really sound good for a monster. But I still think it's the most logical name given the newer signature moves like "Neutron Blast", which bears no similarity to the Japanese name Ultimate Burst. Regardless of the English name, due to its Japanese name, should this card be in the "signature move" series? Kind regards, GoldenDragonRider (talkcontribs) 21:14, December 14, 2016 (UTC)

If neither sound good, at the very least it should be named to make the most people happy. Ultimate Pound is a name everyone is indifferent to, and while most people are also indifferent to Mechanized Melee (like you GoldenDragonRider), some like me would be super stoked if it were named by its signature Dub name! Until we get an official name it should stay how it is. No matter how much you want it, it shouldn't be changed just because some people want it to. Also, oftentimes the English translators don't change the name to the dub name, so all we should do is wait and see. Bigbug9292 (talkcontribs) 21:45, April 2, 2017 (UTC)
