Fake Cards

I saw the reasons for the possible deletion of the article and while they do seem valid I was under the impression the total cards being released for Return of the duelist hadn't been confirmed yet, plus it may be possible the this card be for a release a little after that. I just think that more time should be given before actually deleting the the article on this card.

• It is true that Return of the Duelist cards have not been completely spoiled and confirmed. However all the cards we have so far have come from V-Jump and Weekly Jump. This includes the Magical monsters, the Heroic monsters, the Book of Spells, etc. No other info has been released and this card and that Fairy King one do not appear anywhere. They have no official sources and they come from pictures of so called "scans" which are no where to be found. I believe they should be deleted because there is no legitimate proof these are real. While plenty of evidence exists to prove they are not real.

I can confirm Alchemic Magician exists, picked it up in the 'Return of the Duelist' pack yesterday(UK).The current card image and information fits too.

• Yes, we've known that Alchemic Magician exists ever since the OCG scans showed up. The discussion above was back in March, when the scans were leaked super early and no one knew where they came from. No one could find their source which led to the doubt concerning the card. Prophecy

Pretty sure this card has nothing to do with prophecy. Otherwise every spellcaster/spell card is a prophecy card ie everything that deals with spellcounters, Dark Magician of Chaos, Magician of Faith, etc.--128.211.220.12 (talk) 16:12, January 18, 2013 (UTC)wally4golly

What I thought is that this card needs lots of spells in grave and also supports spells in a very special way besides its type as a spellcaster and that the Spellbook spell cards are all spells which support their archetype if they are either in the graveyard or banished (for example Reaper of Prophecy) so I think that they are related. I see where you're coming from, and if it mentioned "Spellbooks" specifically I'd be okay with it being added as related to Prophecy. But many Spellcasters deal with Spell Cards, so there's no real strong reason to mention this one as related. --Golden Key (talk • contribs) 18:06, January 18, 2013 (UTC)

I got your point but in my point this card is really strongly related as it was firstly released in the same pack as the Prophecy and spellbook cards debuted (the Return of the Duelist pack) and also both of its effects supports spell cards (1 in grave and the other searches out for them) unlike other spellcasters (Style of Spellbooks) got my point? Got a feeling that it don't be needing. But this card can be a great addition to the Prophecy/Spellbook Deck as addition supports. As of "Reaper of Prophecy" and that dark book being release. --iFredCat 14:16, January 19, 2013 (UTC)

This doesn't qualify as "related." By this argument, this means that "Magical Explosion" and this card would be related to Spell Counters and "Prophecy", since they involve Spell Cards (excluding the fact this card was released with the "Prophecy" cards). --UltimateKuriboh (talk • contribs) 20:33, January 19, 2013 (UTC)

It is not close enough to be related to the "Prophecy" archetype. "Night's End Sorcerer" was clearly made to Synchro Summon "Tempest Magician" with (they were both released in the same pack), but that does not make it "related" to Spell Counters. The artwork style of "Alchemic Magician" is different from those of the "Prophecy" archetype, further weakening your argument. Sure, it was probably made to help the "Prophecy" archetype in an oblique way, but that does not make it "related." Don't forget that "Night's End Sorcerer" may drew by the same artist who made those Charmer/Familiar-Possessed, however, he is not related to them. Same reason for this theory, this monster along with Slacker Magician are complete unrelated to the Prophecy/Spellbook theme, they are just scientists that had something to do with the potion. --iFredCat 17:57, January 20, 2013 (UTC)
