Speed Guardian - Ferrario is a character appearing in some video games. Its name is likely a reference to the sports car manufacturer, Ferrari. He first appears in Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2008 in the World of Civilization, guarding the door to the World of Darkness. The player needs to defeat him in 3 duels in a row to proceed.

In Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's World Championship 2009: Stardust Accelerator, Ferrario appears as a downloadable Ghost Duelist for November 2009.

Deck[]

Ferrario runs three Decks:

  • The first, Bouncy Guardian, is a Rock Deck designed to return cards to the hand or Deck. The repeated bouncing of cards and the large DEF of his monsters only serve to frustrate the player and wear out their Life Points for the subsequent Decks to mop up.
  • The second, 10 karats, is a Diamond Dude Turbo Deck which attempts to circumvent the costs of cards like Bonding - H2O to summon big monsters for free. This is often cited as the largest threat in the survival duel, due to its ability to randomly summon beatsticks or suddenly destroy the player's entire field.
  • The third, Like a Phoenix, is a Sacred Phoenix of Nephthys Deck which summons the titular monster along with Vampire Lord to shrug off destruction by effects. Mount a quick offensive pressure to ensure that neither the Phoenix nor the Vampire survives, and save your defenses for other monsters that lack their revival effects.

In Stardust Accelerator, Ferrario uses an "Ancient Gear" and "Gadget Deck, titled "G.E.A.R.".
