"Sky Striker Ace" Extra Deck Monsters are essentially the Main Deck Monsters wearing different suits of powered armor. The suits also have a serial number that starts with an "X-00" for "Sky Striker Ace - Raye" and "Z-00" for "Sky Striker Ace - Roze".
Etymology[]
The Japanese name of this archetype, literally "Flash Katana Lady", is a pun on the word 戦闘機 sentōki "fighter aircraft", which is appropriate because "Sky Striker Ace" monsters wear armor that is composed of fighter aircraft parts. A part of this archetype name,

Playing style[]
The main theme of Sky Striker Ace monster is to utilize their Main Deck monster; Raye, to quickly summon the Sky Striker Ace Link monsters. Many of their Link Monsters are also highly dependant on Spell Cards to support them. In addition, many of their cards have powerful replenishing effects to maintain hand advantage. With the exception of Raye and Hayate, the other Sky Striker Ace monsters have effects that revolve around gaining or losing ATK and LP.
Hayate also has the ability to send Sky Striker Cards from the Deck to the Graveyard to boost other Sky Striker Ace monsters or set up Raye from the Graveyard.
