Rubén Lima was a Spanish player. For roughly a decade, he was one of the most prominent Yu-Gi-Oh! players from his country, topping over a dozen major events, most notably making Top 4 at YCS London 2014 and winning the Spanish Nationals in 2024.
Around 2023/2024, he was known for his successes with the "Virtual World" archetype, a deck generally not considered to be a major contender in the Metagame. He even became National Champion with this deck.
In late 2024, he passed away as a result of an extreme flood in the Valencia area.
