Tag Force 4[]

In the first event, Roman enters the Player's room, inviting them to join his side against the Signers. When the player agrees, the pair invite Luna out, where she has successfully evaded Leo to meet the Player. Shocked to see the player with a Dark Signer, she refuses to believe Roman's claim that the player is of their free will, reminding herself how the Player helped her regain Ancient Fairy Dragon, and promises to bring the Player to their senses. Upon her defeat, Luna cries that she still believed in the Player even as her own monsters were making continuous warnings, and still does so after her defeat. Roman allows the injured Luna to escape, declaring their victory as complete, with the seeds of doubt in her heart, and how she will never come to terms of the Player's betrayal.

In the second event, Roman orders the Player to Duel Akiza, inviting her out to meet outside the Arcadia Movement. Upon arrival, Akiza is shocked to see the Player with Roman, who gives her two options: flee or seek revenge and defeat the Player. Ultimately, Akiza chooses the latter, but not for the sake of vengeance, but in order to communicate with the Player. After her defeat, Akiza demands to know from the Player themselves if they truly betrayed her. As the effects of the Player's betrayal begin to sink in, Akiza sees the futility of trusting anyone, and slowly reverts back to her old, violent persona. Once again, Roman thanks the player for inflicting an unhealable wound to Akiza's heart, beyond any pain she had ever experienced.

In the third event, Roman has the Player invite Jack. As the meeting unfolds, Roman intentionally reveals himself to Jack, but explains that Jack's true opponent would actually be the Player. When Roman reveals the Player is free of any mind control, Jack sees this as an enemy trick as the Player remained with him even after he lost both Carly and his title as King, and duels the player to affirm their bond. Despite this, Jack is defeated, and he reminisces over how he had once betrayed those closest to him, and how he is now suffering the same pain as them. For their betrayal, Jack declares the Player to be his enemy and promises to not rest until he has avenged his defeat.

For his final event, Roman has the Player confront Yusei outside Satellite. Yusei, however, had correctly deduced already that the player was the culprit for the breakdown of his friends, most especially with pain Jack's heart had suffered from their betrayal. Despite everything, Yusei still chooses to have faith in the player, but Roman states that the Player had already tapped into their own darkness when they accepted his offer so readily. In spite of his efforts, Yusei is defeated, but despite everything, he still considers the player to be his friend.

Having finally attained victory against all the Signers, Roman begins gloating, but wonders what will his purpose as a Dark Signer be now that the Signers were defeated. As the Player still hungers for powerful opponents, Roman considers the other Dark Signers for the next player's mission.

Upon completing the story, the Player receives three copies of Earthbound Immortal Uru and the photo "Roman Goodwin - Hungry Fangs".
