Reaper on the Nightmare appears in the video games, Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2008 and Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's World Championship 2011: Over the Nexus. In World Championship 2008, it can be unlocked if the player has beaten Nightmare Penguin five times. The player can then unlock it as a tag partner by beating it ten times. In World Championship 2011, Reaper on the Nightmare and Dark Blade the Dragon Knight can be unlocked in Free Turbo Tag Duel if the player can beat the team known as "Down to the Sea" three times. Their team name is "Unified in Darkness".
