Template:Infobox archetype

Entermage (Em (エンタメイジ) Entameiji) is an archetype of cards used by Dennis Macfield in Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V. They debut in the set Clash of Rebellions.

Design

"Entermage" monsters are based on Circus artists, such as jugglers, flame eaters and trapeze artists.

Etymology

"Entermage" is a portmanteau of "Entertainment" and "Mage". Their name draws parallels with Yuya's "Performapal" monsters ("Entermate" in the Japanese anime), as with Michio Mokota's "Cookmate" monsters. "Entermage" even receives a near-identical abbreviation in the Japanese to "Performapal"– differentiated only by letter case (Entermage is "Em" while "Perfromapal"/"Entermate" is "EM")– as well as featuring cross-archetype support with "Performapal" through "Barrier Bubble".

Playing style

The "Entermage" monsters revealed so far all feature effects that prevent effect damage, alongside swarming effects to aid on Xyz Summons.
