Nova, known as Yoshikata Nobata in the Japanese version, is a character appearing in the Tag Force series.

In Yu-Gi-Oh! GX Tag Force Nova plays a Draw Deck based on using many cards with draw based effects, to thin his Deck and quickly fill his Graveyard before playing "Exchange of the Spirit". In later instalments , Nova plays a Deck which uses the effect of "Necroface" and combines it with "Soul Absorption" to gain a huge amount of Life Points.
Nova's main aim is to Deck out his opponent, though his latter deck can also overwhelm the opponent because it also contains "Gren Maju Da Eiza", which can reach a very high ATK if enough cards are removed from play.
