"Melodious Maestra" ( (げん) (そう) (おと) (ひめ) , Gensō no Otohime) is a sub-archetype of the "Melodious" archetype, featuring said archtype's higher-Leveled monsters. They are used by Zuzu Boyle in Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V. Their names are based on famous composers. With the exception of "Shopina the Melodious Maestra", all members of this sub-archetype have 2000 DEF.

The Japanese name contains (おと) (ひめ) Otohime which is pun on the words 乙姫 otohime ("younger princess", as in "a princess who is a younger sister", as opposed to ehime ("older princess")) and 音 oto ("sound"). Compare the Japanese name of "Melodious Diva" cards and "Sonic Maid".

Both of the "Melodious Choir" fusions released so far require at least one of these monsters as its primary fusion component.
