Limited Edition 3 is a set of three packs available through mail order through the Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine. The Yugi Pack, Joey Pack and Kaiba Pack each contained a different set of three cards.
The pack deviates from the WJ prefix to L3, adding distinction between Limited Edition cards and the Weekly Shōnen Jump promotional cards.

The set contains two Normal Monsters, three Effect Monsters, two Spell Cards and one Trap Card, all of which are Ultra Rare. Each pack contains three cards, which were used in the manga, by the character depicted on the cover.
