High Mage Martis is one of the Mages in Yu-Gi-Oh! Forbidden Memories. He is located at the Desert Shrine. The Prince faces him after defeating the Desert Mage. The Prince duels and defeats him, taking the Millennium Scale.
He appears in Yu-Gi-Oh! The Falsebound Kingdom, named Marthis, as an assistant to Emperor Haysheen and one of the starting Marshals on Kaiba's team. After Kaiba's betrayal of the Empire, Marthis deserts Kaiba and alerts Haysheen to his defection. Marthis later appears as an enemy under Haysheen's command, intending to end Kaiba's rebellion but instead is defeated.
He also appears as an enemy in Joey's mode.
