Decks[]
In Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2008, Embust uses the following Decks:
- Open and Close: a "Skill Drain"-based Deck with Normal Monsters, Life Point Recovery cards and Mask of Restrict.
- Wiggling Beings: an Insect-based deck that uses cards that benefit from the opponent's monsters also counting as Insect via "DNA Surgery", such as "Insect Barrier". Once you are paralyzed, it uses cards like "Swarm of Scarabs" and "Swarm of Locusts" to take out key cards and clear the field.
- Calm Spirits: a Charmers-based deck, with "Waboku" and "Chorus of Sanctuary" to help preserve the Charmers long enough to take control of opposing monsters and then send them to the Graveyard for their Familiar-Possessed upgrade. Also features the minor monsters shown alongside the various Charmer card arts.
- Silent Memory: A Removal deck based around "Macro Cosmos", "Banisher of the Light" and also traps that return cards to the opponent's Deck or Hand, like "Compulsory Evacuation Device" or "Forced Back". Embust also tries to lock your spells down using "Spell Canceller", while not running any spells himself.
- Silent Victory: A Deck based around the Silent Warrior level group
