Gaia Knight

Gaia Knight, known as "Knight Gaia" (騎 (き) 士 (し) ガイア Kishi Gaia) in Japanese, is a series of EARTH/WIND monsters with various Types (primarily Dragon) that are upgraded counterparts of "Gaia The Fierce Knight". All monsters of this series have 2600 ATK, except for the 3500 ATK "Gaia Drake, the Universal Force". The non-Link members, like the original "Gaia The Fierce Knight" and its retrained counterparts, also all have 2100 DEF, except for the 800 DEF "Gaia Knight, the Force of Earth" and the 2800 DEF "Gaia Drake, the Universal Force".

This series consists of Extra Deck monsters of which almost all of them were released in the early stages of a new era to promote a new type of Summoning mechanic, beginning with "Gaia the Dragon Champion" in Legend of Blue Eyes White Dragon, one of the first Fusion Monsters to be released.

Although this series is not a part of the "Gaia The Fierce Knight" archetype, it is thematically related to it.
