Gaia Knight

Gaia Knight, known as "Knight Gaia" (士 (きし) ガイア Kishi Gaia) in Japanese, is a series of monsters that are upgraded/alternative counterparts of "Gaia The Fierce Knight". They are mostly comprised of Extra Deck monsters that are released in the early stages of a new era to promote a new type of summoning mechanic, beginning all the way back in Legend of Blue Eyes White Dragon with "Gaia the Dragon Champion", one of the first Fusion Monsters ever released.

They are not part of the "Gaia The Fierce Knight" archetype.
