Gaia Knight

Gaia Knight, known as "Knight Gaia" (騎 (き) 士 (し) ガイア Kishi Gaia) in Japanese, is a series of monsters that are upgraded counterparts of "Gaia The Fierce Knight". All monsters of this series have 2600 ATK, except for the 3500 ATK "Gaia Drake, the Universal Force". The non-Link members, like the original "Gaia The Fierce Knight" and its retrained counterparts, also all have 2100 DEF, except for the 800 DEF "Gaia Knight, the Force of Earth" and the 2800 DEF "Gaia Drake, the Universal Force".

This series is comprised of Extra Deck monsters where almost all of them were released in the early stages of a new era to promote a new type of summoning mechanic, which began all the way back in Legend of Blue Eyes White Dragon with "Gaia the Dragon Champion", one of the first Fusion Monsters ever released.

Although this series is not a part of the "Gaia The Fierce Knight" archetype, it is considered a subset of said archetype.
