Gaia Knight, known as "Knight Gaia" (騎士ガイア Kishi Gaia) in the OCG, is a series of mostly Extra Deck monsters that are upgraded counterparts of "Gaia The Fierce Knight". Almost all of them were released in the early stages of a new era to promote a new type of Summoning mechanic, beginning with "Gaia the Dragon Champion" in Legend of Blue Eyes White Dragon, one of the first Fusion Monsters to be released.
Although this series is not a part of the "Gaia The Fierce Knight" archetype, it is thematically related to it.
