The Four Dimensions. Click on one of the dimensions to go to its page.

In the Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V anime, the universe is composed of four different dimensions, in which each inhabitant uses different Extra Deck Special Summon methods. The dimensions are the Fusion Dimension, the Synchro Dimension, the Xyz Dimension, and the Standard Dimension. According to Yuto, the Standard Dimension is in the center of the others.[1] While inhabitants of the Fusion, Synchro and Xyz Dimensions use Fusion, Synchro and Xyz Monsters respectively, the Standard Dimension initially did not have its own unique Special Summon mechanic, and instead each of the others was taught to students at Leo Duel School in Maiami City. Recently, however, an anomaly gave rise to a new Summoning mechanic, the Pendulum Summon.[2]

Each dimension also has its own Dragon that represents that dimension's trademark Summoning mechanic.

Inhabitants by dimension

The huge majority of characters in the anime are residents of the Standard Dimension, therefore their names are too numerous to list. Because of this, in lieu of a list, a link to the character portal is provided.
