While waiting for "Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal" to be released, these questions arose. I do not read the comics and only watch the anime. Honestly, I do not expect to get a response to these questions, but for those of you that can answer them, thank you very much for your assistance regarding this matter!  :)

How many years have gone by since the "Atem" bids farewell to "Yugi Moto" finale? (the final episode of the "GX" anime series, not the beginning of it.)

Any of the characters that have known ages should have them listed in the infobox of their articles, which includes most DM characters. As for GX, it's not ever specified how many years are between it and DM, though if that was known, you'd add three years to that (seasons 3 and 4 are in the same year). GX was known to have started in-universe in 2004 (so it would end in 2007). Cheesedude (talk • contribs) 15:34, June 2, 2011 (UTC)

Ages of some GX characters were listed on TV Tokyo website. I do not know whether their biographies are still present on that site, but I can surely say that Jaden and some his friends were at age of 15 in Season 1, and would be one year older as a new school year began. --93.86.113.155 (talk) 15:46, June 2, 2011 (UTC)

Duelist Kingdom takes place around 1997 judging by newspaper dates and the years on character's yo-yos in the manga.

Pegasus is explicitly stated to be 24 during Duelist Kingdom. Weevil is 14 and Rex is 15 just before Duelist Kingdom. Around summer before Duelist Kingdom, Joey is 16. Yugi, Téa, Tristan, Bakura and Seto Kaiba are in his class (2nd year high school), so should be about the same age. Mokuba is about five years younger than Seto, since he was 5 and Seto was 10 when they went to the orphanage. Rebecca was 12 before Duelist Kingdom (The English version changed this and said she was 8 after Duelist Kingdom.) Bonz is 15, Marik is 16 and Ishizu is 20 according to the Yu-Gi-Oh! Character Guidebook: The Gospel of Truth. I'm not sure about Odion's age.

How much time passes in the original series isn't really clear, but it's a lot shorter than people tend to guess. Each story arc only lasts a few days and some of them start immediately where one ends. I don't think the characters would be more than a year older than they were at Duelist Kingdom in the finale. -- Deltaneos (talk) 16:06, June 2, 2011 (UTC)
