I've been looking into the Yosenju cards and I must say I really like them, so I decided to create a deck for them but I'm unsure if it's really a good deck. I'd like to use the deck competitively and maybe do some local tourneys with it, just worried if it'll do me any good.

So this is the deck, any helpful advice is much appreciated. DarkSlayer516 (talkcontribs) 00:01, February 26, 2015 (UTC)

So yosenjus. There are two schools of thought with them. 1 says pendulum summon is too good, and emphasize the two medium monsters and diabak with only say 1 or two of kama 1, 2 and 3 thrown in for good measure. It can work but it is not the most reliable and is not good enough for tourney play. The more popular version ignores the pendulums all together and only focueses on kama 1,2 and 3 with fire formation tenki, fire fist bear, training grounds, and if you really really want it, oyamibiko (gorz is probably better honestly). It also runs vanity's as a core card because the only SS is the occasional xyz monster. Give this video a shot, it explains things much better and the decklist is really solid. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FgIiJdCLWn8

But hey, if you want to go the pendulum route after all we can talk more.Deathwingincarnate (talkcontribs) 01:24, February 26, 2015 (UTC)

I've looked into the other style, and I do still want to use the pendulum route, it's more suited to me i suppose. So any help regarding that would be great. DarkSlayer516 (talkcontribs) 23:39, February 26, 2015 (UTC)

Okay then. If pendulums you want we need some generic pendulum support up in here. And by that, I mean we need a good way to search out R and L. Aside from training grounds and kama 3, odd eyes pendulum dragon is a very nice search card for L and R, provided it lives a turn. Otherwise I think your build looks pretty good, may want a fire fist bear for good measure. That should do, give it a shot, see how it runs and then we can come back to the ol drawing board if need be. I just wish yosenjus had more pendulum monsters, then this build would feel a bit more doable. The final note is that in my playtesting of this sort of build cloggy hands are a major issue, drawing hands of all high level monsters is not fun. Finally probably just ditch rhynos, it doesn't add much to the deck and has very limited synergy with it as a whole. Deathwingincarnate (talkcontribs) 23:53, February 26, 2015 (UTC)
