* I, for one, agree with you. I run 10 different decks, and not one of them is a meta deck. I run solely anti-meta decks, for the fun of it! Sure, I may not win as frequently, and with the recent surge of highly competitive and overpowered decks (Tele-DAD, ZombieDAD, ZombieSworn etc), it is harder to win with an anti-meta deck than ever. But, nearly anyone can win with a meta deck! That doesn't prove a thing! On the other hand, winning with an original anti-meta deck demonstrates a dueling level higher than most people. And anti-meta decks too have shots at victory! With my Flash Burn deck, I have beaten all kinds of Monarch, DAD, Zombie, Lightsworn etc. It's not that hard! You just need to build an original deck, and balance it out! But, since even anti-meta deckers want to win, I'm currently constructing a counter-meta deck, specifically designed to beat all current meta decks :-) --[[User:Darth Covah|Darth Covah]] 13:39, 15 November 2008 (UTC)

Yeah, you're right. To bad TDGS never hits my area, if so, everyone would have been using that. And they DID that with GBs! I'm not gonna follow Meta-Game, because I only want to win by my own style, and some advices from people. -- '''[[w:c:ycm:User talk:J0V1|J0V1]] [[w:c:ycm:User:J0V1/Yu-Gi-Oh! I run what I call an "Advanced Junk Deck" (plz give advice for this Deck in the Deck Help Forum plz!), and in not just mine, but many other Duelists' opinions, my Deck isn't that bad on a Regional level except for the last tournament in SSF where Crossroads cards weren't tourney-legal yet. But I noticed that ever since Tele-DAD hit the scenes, everyone's been jumping on the bandwagon. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with Tele-DAD Decks, but it seems to me that Duelists are becoming more and more desparate to win, almost to the point where they ignore their sense of individuality in terms of how they build their Decks. What ever happened to the time where Duelists could build Decks that represented their individual style and were still effective? I think that's where the game is lacking in right now... To be honest, I like anti-Meta Decks that show a little bit of personality. What do you guys think? Is it OK for Duelists to give up their identity and style for a few wins? I sure don't.
