In a lot of the newer games, there's a pentagon shaped thingy next you a duelist that 'ranks' them. What do the 5 symbols (Sword, Shield, Thumbs Up, Dice and Heart) mean? ParadiseNigh (talkcontribs) 22:25, March 11, 2011 (UTC)

These are five dueling characteristics that you can have. The further the pentagon extends to that point, the stronger the characteristic. The Sword is Aggressive play (Aggro/Beatdown like tactics), the Shield represents Defensive play (either monsters with high DEF or stall/defending cards), the Thumbs-Up I'm not entirely sure, but I believe it symbolizes Strategy (how well you use the cards at hand, and the complexity of your combos), the Dice represents Luck (self-explanatory) and the Heart represents "Spirit". I'm not really sure what that means, but I believe it has something to do with Life Points. Lappyzard (talkcontribs) 22:57, March 11, 2011 (UTC)

It depends on your playing style (while online/wi-fi); Sword (likes to attack, summon high ATK monsters or swarm and have lots of monsters on the field), Shield (likes to defend or summon high DEF monsters; likes to use defensive cards like Bottomless Trap Hole and Mirror Force), Thumbs Up (likes using long Strategies or Comboes), Dice (luck; likes using gambling cards; coin toss, dice roll; relies on drawing/milling/etc to gain advantage) and Heart (Protection; likes using cards like Level Limit - Area B, Battle Fader, etc.) -Falzar FZ- (talk page|useful stuff) 22:59, March 11, 2011 (UTC)
So it reads off PVP play? That explains why my radar is 0 all around. --Gadjiltron (talkcontribs) 01:52, March 12, 2011 (UTC)
Yes, wifi duels/rating only. -Falzar FZ- (talk page|useful stuff) 03:11, March 12, 2011 (UTC)
