Revision as of 12:57, 11 September 2012

Hello, I want to clarify the next issue: Let's say I control a face-up Synthetic Seraphim, I have no monsters on the field, but I have a set Counter Trap Card, like Dark Bribe, and I have a Voltanis the Adjudicator in my hand, then my opponent activates a Spell/Trap Card, I negate it with Dark Bribe and after it resolves, what happens?

Does Synthethic Seraphim creates the Synthetic Seraphim Token before or after Voltanis' special summon effect could activate? Meaning I could tribute the just created token or Voltanis just can't activate its effect because there was no monsters on my side of the field when Dark Bribe's chain resolved?

Also, what would happen If I do have one monster or another token on the field? Can I tribute the monster/token and the just created token?

I would be very grateful if someone could answer this for me! Thanks in advance. Kentaru Z (talkcontribs) 05:17, September 11, 2012 (UTC)

Check the rulings on Synthetic Seraphim.
Once a Token is Special Summoned, you may immediately Tribute it to Special Summon "Voltanis the Adjudicator". MadRest 12:45, September 11, 2012 (UTC)
I wanted to be sure, because the rule is labeled under "Previously Official Rulings".
