So I'm basically confused after a duel I just had. I've been using this same method in dueling for a while now and someone just now said something that has confused me beyond belief.
Basically what I do is summon Blue-Eyes White Dragon, in most cases by special summon. Then when I can I summon Malefic Parallel Gear to use the two to Synchro summon T.G. Blade Blaster.
What this guy was telling me is that I can't do that because Malefic Parallel Gear is a Tuner, but not a Synchro Tuner.
Well theirs a couple issues with that. A.) As far as I'm concerned they're the same thing. B.) If he's referring to the fact that his attributes are Machine/Synchro/Effect then what the hell is he talking about because every Synchro card says Synchro on it.
I think he was full of it, but this isn't the first time that this game's rules have blown me away. WhitleyFilms (talk • contribs) 23:35, August 30, 2012 (UTC)
the tuner for T.G. Blade Blaster needs to also be a synchro monster (ie a white card) basically means you need to use Formula Synchron, T.G. Wonder Magician, etc in other words hes right
Also, the non-tuner needs to be a Malefic monster in your hand (Parallel gear is special like that), its effect isn't optional, if im not mistaken
also, Blade blasters Non-tuner needs to be a Synchro too so, you've been breaking quite a few rules

Why has no one ever called me on this before. This completely tears apart my deck. WhitleyFilms (talk • contribs) 23:51, August 30, 2012 (UTC)
- Also, your opponent is correct - "Malefic Parallel Gear" restricted itself to only "Malefic" Synchro Monster, in add to Dread's comment. "T.G. Blade Blaster" is complete different, so just spamming Level 5 Synchro Monsters, 1 being a Tuner, into this monster. --iFredCat 23:55, August 30, 2012 (UTC)
So your telling me that Malefic Parallel Gear is only good for Summoning Malefic Paradox Dragon? Or can I use it to summon other Synchro monsters?
WhitleyFilms (talk • contribs) 00:01, August 31, 2012 (UTC)
You can use it for other synchro monsters as long the material you use is from your hand and is also a Malefic monster. But easiest monster to summon is Malefic Paradox Dragon BobbaRice (talk • contribs) 01:08, August 31, 2012 (UTC)
- Yes, that's it, Whitley, the only Synchro you can Synchro into is "Malefic Paradox Dragon" - it's Condition which can't be avoid. It approved same for "Majestic Dragon" with "Majestic" Synchro Monsters and "Quickdraw Synchron" for "Synchron" monsters. All those monsters' effects are Condition. --iFredCat 01:11, August 31, 2012 (UTC)
- You might want to reread Malefic Parallel Gear again... I don't think there's a condition as far as what you Synchro Summon, just one on what monster the non-Tuner has to be. PHASE (talk • contribs) 04:13, August 31, 2012 (UTC)
- If you have "Malefic Parallel Gear" and "DNA Transplant" (Dragon) on the field and "Malefic Stardust Dragon" in your hand. You can Synchro Summon for "Trident Dragion".
- Also, if you use something like "Level Retuner" on "Malefic Parallel Gear" and have a "Malefic Red-Eyes Black Dragon" in your hand. You can Synchro Summon for ~13 different Level 8 Synchro Monsters.
- That should be all the possible Synchro Monsters. -Falzar FZ- (talk page|useful stuff) 12:46, August 31, 2012 (UTC)
- Falzar, there is also "Level Conversion Lab", "Cost Down", and "Star Blast" can alter the Level of a monster in the hand. That will enable making Synchros of all sorts of levels. --LordGeovanni- (Talk To Me) *Kupo* 03:40, September 3, 2012 (UTC)
