I control a Legendary Six Samurai - Shi En that has previously been fiendish chained. Then my opponent activates a trap stun. Can Shi - En now negate the trap stun since fiendish chain has been negated by the trap stun? —This unsigned comment was made by Eigne85 (talkcontribs) 21:51, February 5, 2014‎ (UTC)

How can you negate Trap Stun if it's resolved successfully?-- (talkcontribs) 22:27, February 5, 2014 (UTC)

To answer your question, no. Your opponent activates "Trap Stun". You have the option to Chain to it, before it resolves. You can activate the effect of "Shi En" at this point, but it will be negated by "Fiendish Chain". If you have no response, "Trap Stun" will resolve and the effects of "Fiendish Chain" will be negated. By this point, it is too late to negate "Trap Stun" with "Shi En", since you already let it resolve. --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 22:29, February 5, 2014 (UTC)
